 what's a shamwow?

Just been watching the news, the floods in Australia look really bad, hope they are no where near you

Ossy.

It says people have to be careful and to stay on dry land because of crocodiles  and snakes

Hello :o

Flooded kitchen fixed. I've been staying with relatives for a few days but back home now :cheer:

I'll be back on-line tomorrow night on serious posting duty :D

Its more up north and yes there are plenty of snakes in the flood waters, haven't heard of any croc attacks yet though

Oh wow that sucks

Good to see you back though

Good evening :cheer:

First day back at work today. I hate work so much. Bah. <_<

I was clock watching from about 10am...

Forgot to mention, as well as my flooded kitchen on Hogmanay, I went over on my ankle on New Year's Day. Been hirpling about ever since.

Great start to 2011 I've had...

I'll trade your sore ankle for a bruised coccyx anyday

Ouch  that don't sound good Ossy and Jups, not a good start to the new year

Jups............. did you have your new boots on when you slipped over?

Evening :drink:

Hate to tell you Ossy but I bruised my coccyx when I was about 16. And I still get the odd twinge all these years later. The pain lasts years and years.

And my ankle really hurts today. It is all swollen.

Oh and it's snowing. Again. <_<

My brothers crushed me with a tv

Been having fun driving round in the snows back and forth to work for a temporary job in northern Pennsylvania since just after Christmas....spent me Christmas driving from where I live in Florida to get to this job.....a lovely 1230 mile drive it was, too.....

Sorry to hear about everyone elses injuries....this cold and damp where I am now has really gotten my arthritis flaring up.....the joys of ibuprofen when I'm really achy....

Sounds like you are having fun Biggy

At the moment Queensland is f***ed (no other word covers it). Flooding everywhere. I live in the capital Brisbane and the CBD was just evacuated an hour ago. The river is set to peak in 45 or so minutes and floods will be terrible, worst it's been since 1974 (ironic year yes :P).

Thankfully my area is not one of the 32 listed on the high flood alert list so I think I'll be safe...but seeing as how this rain just isn't letting up anything could happen.
