Yeah its almost exactly the same here, we call them outpatient clinics...no drug tests though. Hope it's not a bad fracture, would suck if they put your ankle in plaster.

 

 

Still does hurt, Ossy......just can't find a comfortable spot for it, especially at night, when I want to try and sleep.....

 

Ziggy, I'm still waiting to be informed as to the orthopaedist I'm to see about my ankle.....

 

I look at it like this, worst case scenario, I'd have surgery......a better case scenario, a cast........all I wanna know is, when will I have this ankle tended to by an orthopaedist.....

Just got off the phone with the workman's comp insurance people.....they're going to contact an orthopædist in my area, then let me know when the appointment will be....

 

EDIT: Just found out when my appointment will be.....10.00 a.m. local time this coming Wednesday......

Cool well lets hope it's at 10am. I've done Orthopaedic and Fracture clinics at work and they are always the busiest, so I'd suggest taking a good book.

Well, the orthopædist put me in a removeable fiberglass boot for now....have to go back Wednesdsay next, so they can take xrays to see how I'm healing....if I'm not healing to their satisfaction, they're talking of surgery to repair to their satisfaction....
