I try not to listen to it much, I like the chorus but it drives me mad enough as it is. The rest of it sounds like a mess. A big fat autotuned mess.

 

I actually think the chorus is the worst part :o

 

'The Club is Aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiivve' sounds ear-piercing and its done on autotune, which makes it worse

 

their other songs were generic and throwaway, but they werent a mess and showed their natural vocal talents at least

 

I agree with the criticisms about this JLS song, how anyone can defend that is beyond me.

 

I never especially disliked JLS and I didn't mind any of their previous three singles. This however, horrendous.

Agreed its not like JLS are even BAD singers. The auto tune is AWFUL imo.. may aswell be daft punk "singing" it.

So glad katy is no1, i bought it earlier today. Such a fun Summer song, best number one of this year i reckon.

Those aren't the reasons I dislike CG, I dislike CG because it's a terrible song IMO. Yes, TCIA is extremely generic, and yes, it does have awful lyrics. What makes it so much better than CG is because it's a good song. IMO obvz. ;)

Each to their own, I respect that it's your own opinion was just stating that it was a bit hypocritical of you to say Katy's song was awful for being generic and having awful lyrics (which, I, personally don't think it does - I've seen far far worse) when JLS' is just as bad.

I totally agree. JLS can sing brilliantly, as they proved on X-Factor, Alexandra was just a lot better. I love BA, EIL and OS but TCIS has to be the single worst song of the year - even worse than Baby by Justine Beaver :puke:

It's terrible though. Enrique's voice (which is naturally infectious - especially how he sings "RedOne" in Takin' Back My Love) is autotuned to the max and it ruins it. :( I can't believe Enrique has stooped that low. Hero was amazing and I for one have no idea how he went from that to this.

Could not agree more just a terrible song on every level and Pitbull as per usual adds nothing.Do not think it is getting much radio airplay so hope it does not go Top 100.

Sorry, but they sing the song and release it under their name, so if the song is bad, yes they are to blame for releasing crap stuff.

Yes you would know all about artists who release crap stuff.The point I was making was that the producer and writer of the song have produced better material and JLS's management must take full responsibility for the song.I doubt even at this stage JLS have complete control over what they release.
