June 22, 201015 yr I will strangle myself with a shoelace if 'Upside Down' wins. And i'm not even joking. Edited June 22, 201015 yr by Ljósið
June 22, 201015 yr It's about time we get a United States of Jack win in all honesty  It'll do well, but I hope you go all the way this time instead of stalling in the Top 5 somewhere. :( There's a reason why you're top of my voting history thing
June 22, 201015 yr 3 of your likely victors are still on nul points Tyron, nice work :P Two of those (and I'm not allowed to say which) I would have had at 80/1 at best as well, and unsurprisingly these are two of the songs on nul points still. Surprised you think a few of those have any sort of a chance at victory to be honest, one of them doesn't even have a hook as far as I can hear  But then I do have insider info. But I guess I really should have done odds beforehand as they would have looked vastly different to yours :o
June 22, 201015 yr UnoShake, Kingdom Of Shadow and Land Of Jack :o As IF GaGa would get nul points :o She's BJ's favourite and it's an unheard song! I won't say if you're right or wrong about any of them though :P
June 22, 201015 yr I'm going to take a guess at UnoShake and Sangria for the nul points, I can't at all guess the third...Land of Jack? 80/1? 80/1's for, like, rocky stuff that's probably not going to win. Like...Not A Love Song if it was sung by guys.

Like...Not A Love Song if it was sung by guys. I'm saying nothing :P Aaron will come along and decipher all of the clues later anyway! But at least one if not more of the three you've suggested there are doing pretty well at this stage! Unpredictable :funky: Not really, a couple of the songs you've put as likely winners are really pedestrian in my opinion and although they may not come last, would never win or even have a slim chance of winning in a million years. Clearly I'm not the only one that feels like it as they're on nul points  I've put forgettable generic pop at 80/1 before if I think it stands no chance of winning and I'm sure you have too :o
June 22, 201015 yr PAVELLL! Off-Topic BUTTTTT Have you heard Maroon 5's comeback? BUTT? :kink: I'm such a flop fan :( I'm so sick that i forgot about it

It's a shame my interest in the contest isn't as big as it used to be. :(
June 22, 201015 yr After listening I would say the 0 points are UnoShake, Land Of Jack and Kingdom Of Shadow. I think the GaGa comment is a red herring and the other two would probably be towards the bottom of my odds too. I think I'd rule out Sangria because I'm pretty sure someone (Rich?) charted the Fallulah album last week. (I remember because I was wondering whether to find a link for it.)

It's decent, but pretty different to Bridges to be honest, it's a lot darker than that song, which is a bit of a misleading single. There's one other track I really recommend from it though, called Only Human. She's like a slightly less poppy Marina, although Bridges is very Marina production wise in my opinion. Her voice is somewhere in between Marina and Karin Dreijer Andersson.
June 22, 201015 yr 30/1 Nice. TBH i'd probably give my self around this mark too, I don't think it will do as well as Something Good Can Work, but i don't think it will flop. It has a nice RNB/Hip-Hip-Hop cross over

When I was going through Last.FM to make sure I was happy with the MP3 tags (I'm a bit OCD) her profile description said something about 'surely set to join Marina, Bat for Lashes etc.' which instantly got my attention. I might check out the album now. She seems to be roughly in the right area for the odds to me.
