Posted June 18, 201015 yr Their debut album has been certified Diamond in South Africa, and they're set to take over the UK in August. Debut album and debut single is called Sun In My Pocket. Why they'll be huge? They aré family of Charlie Chaplin. They're steaming hot twin brothers, Veronicas-much. <3 They have an extremely unique, weird, new wave, futuristic sound to them. They have been given the thumbs up by Popjustice. And they're going with the Lady Gaga style success strategy - underwhelming first single, overwhelming second single. Definitely worth a listen. Fc2H1-rz-94 And the MUCH better follow-up single '6 Second Poison'; FIBljX4VPuI Edited August 1, 201014 yr by .Katheriné
June 18, 201015 yr Great Kath! I love it when you introduce me to your South African gems! A seriously amazing, yet underrated music industry :( Let's hope Lconville can convince more SAs to try the UK.
June 19, 201015 yr Wow. Those are good songs. I hope they become popular here. And, on first listen, I actually though the first single was better (although the 2nd was good too).
June 20, 201015 yr Love'em :) Hopefully a top-10 for the both songs although I highly doubt they will breakthrough.
June 28, 201015 yr They'd have more chance with 6 Second Poison - that one is amazing! Sun In My Pocket is annoyingly monotone.

June 28, 201015 yr Lol, they were the only South African singers I noticed from there last year and now they wanna try to break UK (and whole Europe too...)?! Good luck guys. Although I also like the South African World Cup hymn "Show dem" - I think I should make a topic for that... Edited June 28, 201015 yr by boys allowed
July 5, 201015 yr Author They've been signed to Jive Records in the UK, honestly can't see them going wrong now. And thank god AATW did not try to get their claws into them that only spells flop as we all know, Jive is ace.
July 31, 201014 yr #35 on iTunes Germany right now :o Wow! I'm so jealous of the Germans right now. Edited July 31, 201014 yr by Eric_Blob

And thank god AATW did not try to get their claws into them that only spells flop as we all know, Jive is ace. It's had no promo whatsoever yet apart from appearing on the odd few cheap music channels, which won't get it far :( AATW don't have a good track record of building sustainable careers for artists (N-Dubz and Cascada aside) but they've been on fire this year with debut singles - Edward Maya, Inna, Yolanda Be Cool...
July 31, 201014 yr I'm sure they had a Radio 1 interview the other day, but I can't remember which show.
August 1, 201014 yr Author Now #33 on German iTunes! :bounce: And they've now been signed to Epic in the UK and Jive outside of the UK, really holding thumbs Radio 1 back them!
August 3, 201014 yr Author They're back in SA for an arena tour now but still promoting the single in Germany from SA by doing live chats on popular music websites, they were on Habbo today seems to be helping because Sun In My Pocket has now shot up to #25 on German iTunes. Yay!
August 4, 201014 yr LOL like HELL will these two numpties make it in the UK. They're not popstars. They're not even hot. The songs are both complete messes but Sun In My Pocket is kind of listenable at least. Poison is absolutely, mind-blowingly awful.
August 7, 201014 yr Their voices annoy me, BUT I think they could easily do well with enough exposure.
August 8, 201014 yr If anyone cares, Perez Hilton just talked briefly about them on Radio 1, about 5 minutes ago, which means that millions of people in the UK have now heard of them (although the vast majority of them probably won't remember by tommorrow ).
