Did you miss the part where I said "SO I WOULD SAY" - I didn't state it as fact like you do in all of your posts.

And sales of Girls Aloud's single and album were dramatically increased because of The X Factor.

Downloads were in effect from when 'Something Kinda Oooh' was released, because I remember it charted the week before on downloads.

The parent album to SKO was the greatest hits and that sold remarkably well, hitting #1 and selling 1,000,000.

However the album that came after it, "Tangled Up", only reached #4 and didn't sell 1 million. So you can not say that the success of the greatest hits contributed to their impressive sales for 'Out Of Control'.

"The Promise" and it's parent album 'OOC' were helped incredibly due to The X Factor and Cheryl's status, this is not spouting $h!t, it is fact. Look at the sales for god's sake.

And it's not as if 'Out Of Control' was an all around better album, because you can ask anyone (fan or music critic) and they will tell you that 'Tangled Up' was far superior musically.

So yes indeed, you are just spouting complete and utter bullsh!t and it ends now, as this is The Saturdays forum.

If you want to argue Girls Aloud's sales and popularity even more, even though you have just been told everything you needed to know, then please go there.

Back to The Saturdays please.

nope thats why i said 'its all guesswork'.

i did not state anything as a fact there,i was questioning what you wrote AS FACT, and you re-itterated it in this post dispite saying you didnt state things 'as fact' !

i didnt bring up the girls aloud comparison, that was YOU!

and just which bit was i 'spouting $h!t'? challenging your assertions?

you have been unreasonable and aggressive towards me in this thread for no other reason then personal prejudice. i think this needs brining to the attention of admin.

LOL. Go ahead, I haven't been unreasonable or aggressive, you've just come in here wanting an argument as you're still stuck on the same broken record you were playing in June 2008.

Kyle - why are you bothering? If you're aware of who Crazy Chris (Common Sense) is, MushymanRob is exactly the same. He's seeking an argument, and boy, are you rising to it? And you're getting aggressive with how you're speaking, so you're doing EXACTLY what he wants.

In my opinion, Missing You IS a development in sound - it doesn't sound like any of the ballads on Chasing Lights for me, it's got more of an RnB feel to it (probably down to it being produced by Taio Cruz) - and there was none of the to be heard on Chasing Lights. So, in my opinion, The Saturdays have progressed in the past 3 albums.

I'm glad they've done this single, even if it flops, Higher has got an Up sound to it, which is good for a hit single, but not to differentiate themselves as artists, which is what they're partly trying to do, and they need to distance themselves, shows why they're different, rather than another carbon copy (which they looked like they could be with Chasing Lights).

I'm not getting aggressive. The only thing remotely aggressive I said to him, he has said to me. I'm not scared, he can go and run to admin for all I care.

I'm still going to support The Saturdays whether I'm a mod or not. And as I said, I'm very aware of who he is. He always comes for an argument, I'm used to it.

that is simply not true... you got all arsey by replying to my post in an unnessecary manner, saying i was 'spouting $h!t' but when i correctly challenged you assertions you couldnt answer them!

ffs all i did was question YOUR figures YOU quoted, because they are FLAWED , and you accused me of 'spouting $h!t'...

...thats why im a mod and chris is .... nothing. lucky to still be here.

there was NOTHING in my posts here that was inflamitory or argumentitive, but you arse licking fanboys just want to sit around genuflecting your wrists to the sight of these pretty ordinary performers without addressing the issues just makes for a pretty lame forum.

my points are vallied.

Correct.

You, however, replied that I was also spouting sh!t. So if I'm not fit to moderate, neither are you!

And I've changed my mind, I think Missing You is a good step for them and I can now see it being a bigger hit than Forever Is Over.

Not taking sides or anything but there are fans here who have been consutructive and said they don't like the song.

In fairness, it does only ever feel like you come in this AF to slag the girls off or to make your next updated prediction about when they will be dropped by their label. It's no surprise if Scherz or anyone else did get tired of this and snap back.

ill admitt to being disappointed in their material. i have no beef with them per-se, i unexpectedly liked girls aloud, and early sugababes, i was kinda hoping the hype surrounding the sats was real. its really no skin of my nose whether they are around for years or months. ive said before (which some people conveiniantly forget) that ill be happy for the sats to produce a damn good pop song, i liked 'forever is over' but tbh its not worn well.

being dropped is a reality, im not fussed either way, i like good pop music from whoever its from.
