Posted June 26, 201015 yr V3TLl3cRjy4 New horror film from the director/writer of some of the Saw films. Looks pretty immense tbh, it's been out in the UK since Friday, will definetly go see at some point I think.
June 26, 201015 yr Right. I know I shouldn't say this, but the trailer has put me off this film completely. As soon as I saw the tarantula legs or whatever, I decided I wasn't going to see it. Honestly, I get so creeped out by Spiders it's not even funny. I'm shaking just thinking about it LOL...
June 27, 201015 yr I saw this about six months ago. It's absolutely ludicrous. There are some clever ideas in there, but it ultimately makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The ending is also totally idiotic. It is quite gruesome in parts, so if gore's your thing then it's probably right up your street. It is easy to see that it was made by the team behind Saw.
June 29, 201015 yr i've just been to see this and it's definitely in my top 10 films of all time. the ending was a little bit disappointing but up until then it was amazing. it was shot a bit differently than most horror films which i really enjoyed because it took away all those cliche horror film moments and it literally kept me on the end of my seat all the way through. plus i've never held my hand up to my face so much in a film it was so horrific.
June 29, 201015 yr Author Yeah I really liked it! Didn't really like the ending but other than that I thought it was really well done and one of the best horror films I've seen recently. The bit where his teeth get knocked out and the cat being burnt by the acid was awful to watch though. :( Good film though, would reccomend it! Didn't really get the thing about spiders either ... was kinda random.

June 30, 201015 yr Author OMG. Do you actually see that?! :( I'm deffo not watching now. Yeah and it was pretty graphic too. :| It was a good film but some of the gory scenes were a bit too much tbh ...
June 30, 201015 yr If its gory I just know I'm gonna love it  Will try and give it a watch before I leave on holiday!
June 30, 201015 yr yeah i didn't get the whole spiders thing either..obviously the guy was an exterminator but still it was a bit odd that they just kept showing them all over the place. especially at the beginning when the flys all started to land on the guys hand.. and i would have been so mad if at the end the killer really did pick that kid up and take her away after all that! and i wish it would have just ended whilst he was in the ambulance and then was allowed to ring his wife. but nope.. looks like there's gonna be a number 2 which i'm just gonna have to go see now :P
June 30, 201015 yr If the cat was genuinely burnt alive with acid then this is not going to even worth the CamRip download.
June 30, 201015 yr Awful, awful film. Definitely only went to see it because I get free tickets like, but it was abysmal. Quite a dull, predictable plot - and yeah definitely one of those films where the gore surpasses any semblance of a plotline, for shame.
June 30, 201015 yr Yep, you can tell this is made by the goons who made the worst of the "Saw" films, and it's the same old sh"t - put enough gore and nastiness into it and it may just fool enough people to overlook the gaping holes in the "plot".... But, as the makers of "Rec", "Martyrs", "Triangle" and "Switchblade Romance" have proven, gore and nastiness can have a brain too, so really films like "The Collector" just become more and more irrelevant....
July 2, 201015 yr I agree fiendish views, this movie have to much gore and nastiness. I had watched it, but i didn't like it.
July 6, 201015 yr Went to see this today, it was good. I enjoyed it actually. The spiders creeped me out big time though, even though they looked completely computerised  But, there was one particular bit, which was unnecessary, for my arachnophobia, and that's when the camera did am extreme close-up on the spider and they zoomed in on it's eyes! I could have cried LOL! That's what freaks me out the most about Spiders! THE EYES! *SHIVERS* The Cat bit wasn't as bad as I thought it was, obviously still quite disturbing to watch, but I couldn't help but laugh when it got chopped in half. Some of the scenes were quite f***ed up though . But I hate how it ended as it's pretty obvious there will be about twenty sequels! :drama:

The scene with the cat is really just gratuitous...
