Well if you look at the mathematics of it - if it's been in the Top 100 each week then it has a fair chance of being in the Top 100 of the year.

*each week bar one :kink:

That would make more sense if the amount each song sold in the top 100 went up steadily each position - Sex On Fire has only been as high as #30 this year, which wouldn't have got it many sales (though having said that it was in a very high sales week) and has spent most of the last few months in the lowest quarter of the top 100, so I would expect at least 100 other songs which got higher for a few more weeks but didn't necessarily hang around as long to have eclipsed KoL's YTD sales...

That made no sense, but I hope you understand my point  Nonetheless, pleased to see SOF top 100 YTD, but it'll probably fall out next week.

Could I have the total sales of 'Commander' please? ^_^

I have 42.7k, but it may have sold a bit more than this, since it didn't chart on the first week it was available on iTunes.

Miley Cyrus can't be tamed sales must be something like 70k :| that's quite bad!

Then you won't want to hear that even that figure is an over-estimate...

I have 65.4k for it.

Yeah, I think Fireflies would be a good year-end number-one, even better than OMG. There are many other good songs, but they don't stand a chance. :(

ATM, it doesn't look like selling more than about 650-700k in total, which I suspect will be too few to be the year's best seller. OMG is likely to catch it in a couple of months, anyway.

No they won't! Their last comeback single, 'Greatest Day', didn't sell much overall, and wasn't even in the top 40 of 2008!

It's still trickle-selling steadily though - probably 20k so far this year...

It's averaged 3.6k/week in 2010, which is the average sales equivalent of #70.

Thanks. ^_^
