October 20, 201014 yr This might be a semi decent film (not to go off on one or anything about how the genius of paranormal activity shouldnt even allow for a sequel) if they werent using the SAME f***ING WOMAN. Ridiculous.
October 20, 201014 yr so this new family who have moved into the house had the whole same idea of the guy from the last movie of setting up cameras. wow originality. it saddens me that people will flock to see this when they could see a more sophisticated and well made film like The Social Network.
October 20, 201014 yr It's not the same house is it? Unless the shots are at different angles, the stairs are on the wrong side  Isn't it meant to be her "spirit" or whatever, haunting relatives?

October 20, 201014 yr if u watch trailer is says the family think there is people braking in all the time its only when they install ctv they notice the freaky stuff like the first one!!!! so exciting!
October 23, 201014 yr This was AWESOME. I loved it. It'll get panned (as I love it ) but it was really jumpy. Some of the scenes towards the end were a bit OTT, yet they had quite a realistic, weird vibe about them  2 of my mates went to see it before I did and said it was a better set-out (i.e. done mostly on CCTV and not hand-held cameras etc..) but it wasn't scary at all. I wasn't expecting it to be better than the first, but this was far better than I'd thought it would be
October 23, 201014 yr OMG it was amazing! and adding a baby was genius anything happens to the baby your heart sinks.
October 23, 201014 yr I don't know about you but my heart stopped once the dog was being attacked. Kids, I feel sorry for, but I really can't see animals being attacked.

October 23, 201014 yr I watched it today with my mates. I enjoyed it  much scarier than the first one! the kitchen cupboard attack caught me unexpected :manson:
October 27, 201014 yr I wasn't really impressed with it but KUDOS to the writers coming up with an impressive story and linking this story so well to the original film. Even the 'jumpy' bits I didn't really jump at, it was only the basement scene where I was bit like 'I just know something is going to make me jump so much...'. A lot of the characters were unlikeable, especially the dad... a 3rd film is definitely inevitable though is it not? with hunter and katie now roaming the streets presuambly POSSESSED completley, there definitely has to be a reason the daughter was not killed off like the parents were...
November 1, 201014 yr So is this any good or am I looking at Blair Witch/Exorcist Pt 2 scenario?? Trust me this is amazing and is on par with the first one Do not mention that dreadful blair witch its in no way the same league :P
November 2, 201014 yr Just watched this and I have to say despite a reasonably decent way of tying up the two movies together I found this simply lacked the sparkle and clever pacing of the first movie. All the time I had the feeling of having simply been here before and so many great opportunities were lost or missed. The dog could have been used so well but eventually became pointless. I normally like Sprague Grayden but she was going through the motions in this and the charcters are all undeveleoped and therefore you lack any real connection with them. My view is if you liked the first one by all means watch this but don't expect anything near as clever or charming. It's nowhere near Blair Witch 2 as somebody rightly said but more like Saw 2 is to Saw or Halloween 2 is to Halloween - and I talking Carpenter not Rob Zombie Edited November 2, 201014 yr by Severin
November 21, 201014 yr Much better than the original. The films themselves ain't really scary. You do that yourself. It messes with your head!
November 21, 201014 yr I saw this a few weeks back... When all the kitchen cupboards flew open i $h!t myself!
November 21, 201014 yr I thought it was a great movie, the first one was a little better... but they are both very amazing.
