Posted July 11, 200620 yr Source: Mardy-bum Ex-Arctic Monkeys bass player Andy Nicholson is said to be begging for a chance to return to the band, after being kicked out only a few weeks ago. According to The People a source close to Andy and the rest of the band, has revealed that "fatigue" may not have been the only reason they split and told the paper: "He has been begging to come back, but Alex has said No. "Andy is devastated. The band was his life and now he has nothing. "While the others have been performing all over the world, Andy has been moping around in Sheffield. "There was a falling out. They need to sit down and sort out their differences. "Who knows? Maybe there is still a chance of Andy returning." Not sure what to think tbh
July 11, 200620 yr Ermm  , this is a bit out of the blue and sounds very strange. There isn't a direct quite from Andy so I don't know what to make of it, but I think there could be a tiny bit of truth in the article, the only thing is though O'Mally is the bassist now (I think) and it would seem a bit unfair just to boot him out of the band,
July 11, 200620 yr the only thing is though O'Mally is the bassist now (I think) and it would seem a bit unfair just to boot him out of the band, Nothing stopping them from having two bassists.... I was in a band with two bassists (well, I was one of em.... ), it makes for a really quite interesting dynamic actually.... Ned's Atomic Dustbin (ask yer dad...  ) also had a two-bassist setup....
July 12, 200620 yr Author Well O'Malley isn't OFFICIALY the new bassist yet ;) I think Alex doesn't want to take any chances and just move on to keep the band in balance.
