There's only one absolutlely terrible song. Everything else is good - some of the tracks are just not for me. My Top 7 or 8 are really quite good in my opinion, and that doesn't include my own submission which I would probably only give 8/10 to.

There were 2 that I really didn't like while listening again yesterday and 1 that was dubious. The others were all at least okay.

I think I've been more harsh/strict with my selections - of the 26 tracks I started with, I now have 17 songs competing for my top 10 slots (and reserve). Those remaining 9 songs have had the least impact on me despite numerous listens.

I do think the quality is very good, even if nothing has blown me away yet, I don't like anything anywhere near as much as my own entry... 23 of 25 would get points in pretty much every BJSC though.

If anyone hadn't already worked it out, the blue column is where the person who entered that song will be revealed. The order for voting will be non-entrants revealed first, then in song number order, so the person who's entered Streetlight Manifesto will have their votes revealed last.

I'm just doing it manually... I'm not sure how a pivot table would work and it won't take long.

I've now had 11 sets of votes, still 16 participants to vote. The song which has recieved points from the 3rd most amount of people (7) is currently only 9th in the standings.

Lots of low level voting. Some songs will be more universally liked than others and will have wider appeal. I have to say I struggled to find the reserve position. It's not a song I will play very often again after next week. Same with positions 5 to 10. The top 5 will get played again.

I'm just doing it manually... I'm not sure how a pivot table would work and it won't take long.

 

 

Yeah, it's probably no quicker with a pivot table seeing as you're just totalling the points.

I've got 4 tracks ready for the next Unknown Pleasures. From 4 different genres. Not sure which to go with. I'll probably be swayed by the tracks that do well this time around.
