July 4, 201015 yr I consider the chart just gone to be chart #27 of the year (I consider the week Bad Romance went back to #1 to be a 2010 chart) so last week was the halfway point. On my little dastradly 'creation' (not really, it's been done before), the point system chart, whereby a week at #1 is wroth 100 points and a week at #100 is worth 1 point, the top 10 for the year to date is as follows: 1. Alicia Keys - Empire... II (2,084 points) 2. Lady GaGa feat. Beyoncé - Telephone (1,988 points) 3. Lady GaGa - Bad Romance (1,935 points) 4. Journey - Don't Stop Believin' (1,875 points) 5. Owl City - Fireflies (1,863 points) 6. Rihanna - Rude Boy (1,833 points) 7. Glee Cast - Don't Stop Believin' (1,678 points) 8. 3OH!3 feat. Katy Perry - Starstrukk (1,565 points) 9. The Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling (1,561 points) 10. Florence + The Machine - You've Got The Love (1,560 points) 8 of these had charted in the top 100 prior to 2010, while one further one (Rude Boy) was available in 2009. Fireflies is the only genuine 2010 song there, and even that I think was briefly available on iTunes in 2009, so if we exclude that the highest genuine 2010 song on the list is Tinie Tempah's Pass Out at #12. July 4, 201015 yr In its 3rd Week in the Top 10, 'All The Lovers' gives Kylie her 114th Top 10 Singles Week, in the UK. It brings her level with ABBA - who she will soon over-take, of course. However, she's need over 22 Years, & 33 Top 10 Hits, to get her 114 Weeks, & they managed it in less than 8 Years, & with 19 Top 10 Hits. She & ABBA are the 2 Acts from outside the UK & USA, with the most No.1 Hits, & Weeks in the Top 10, etc. here. However, her 7 No.1 Singles, & 16 Weeks at No.1, are still way behind ABBA's 9 No.1's, & 31 No.1 Weeks. Edited July 4, 201015 yr by zeus555
July 4, 201015 yr Author Thanks zeus. That's an impressive achievement for Kylie but it also shows just how massive Abba were in their day.
