i thought they would of went up yesterday had the 5 oclock show and dropped to #3 didnt happen tho i like jls dont get me wrong but that song doesnt deserve #1 at all its awifull and if there getting number 1 based on girls thinkin there fit thats just terrible i mean on itunes its rated like 2 stars as hundreds are rating it 1 star so kind of shows it is a rather bad song even jedward got rated 3 stars says it all haha

I think that promo slot helped them in terms of not falling that fast as how fast they're falling now. Well, I *guess* that.

JLS have a very devoted fanbase, in all fairness, so you would think they'd be doing something about this. I like the song, but I won't complain is Airplanes is number-one instead. :)

This years chart has been a shocker but it is more annoying that great songs like Lissie-When I'm alone and Rox-My Baby left me did not even go Top 50.

not always the case, Sugababes were on the chart show once, and they were number 2- behind Jay-Z, who wasnt there, plus Calvin Harris and Tinchy Stryder were there once and they were 2 and 3! :lol:

 

It could just be that JLS were available and they know their going to chart high- but doesnt necessarily mean that number 1 is guaranteed

I think it's happened before though, when a guest gets number-two, although I can't actually remember any specific examples.

 

It happened quite a few times on the Big Top 40 Show last year (I remember one from last year where Mr. Hudson got #2, and the person who got #1 (I can't remember who) was also on the show, and I was thinking "awkward"! :lol:).
