Love it! Works just as well as the Swedish version :D

I'm getting a bit tired of waiting for all of the other demos to leak now :drama:

Oh also, remember that no songs will be absent from the televoting points this year. All the songs will get a cut of some sort.

I thought they were changing the system but I couldn't exactly remember in what way. The points being proportional to the votes that they receive seems like a fair way to do it!

Pritchard's album leaked too!

Leaky leaky, demos album leaky - my thoughts on each one as I listen for the first time;

Not a sinner nor a saint - Sarah Dawn Finer - Her voice has got a lot more distinctive since she did this demo, it barely sounds like her in parts :o Production's a bit wishy-washy, but fairly enjoyable - 8/10

Surrender to my heart (Långt bortom tid och rum) - Robert Zuddas, Martin Olsson & Martina Edoff - I wasn't overly familiar with the original and therefore an English version meant little to me. Good enough though - 7.5/10

Run (Kom) - Timoteij - I think it's safe to say that this could have done quite well indeed in ESC 2010...very strong translation - love  10/10

Du och jag mot världen - Fredrik Kempe & Shirley Clamp - Not as good as it had potential to be - 7/10

Alla Flickor - Lina Hedlund - I always thought that Lina makes a FAR better Alcazar member than she ever did a solo artist - that said, this is a strong version of Alla Flickor, it must be hard to make this song less than brilliant because Linda and Pernilla's versions are equally amazing. 9.5/10

Jag saknar dig ibland - Sonja Aldén - Grand nordic ballad production, but bored me a bit - 7/10

Efharisto - Shirley Clamp - Better than her first song on here, but nothing particularly special - 7.5/10

Gone - Camilla Blom Polfeldt - Wowowow, who the hell is this? SO much better than the BWO version, it's Annie gone schlager, love it a lot. 9.5/10

I lågornas sken - Anette Ingemarsson & Ida Segersten - This song has always been something of a guilty pleasure (in the respect that it's from a genre I'm not generally found listening to), but this works very well as a female led folky ethno-stomper. Love it! 9/10

Genom eld och vatten - Mårten Eriksson - Interesting take on this song, not as horrible as I'd expected - but in contrast to the last song, I'm thankful that the folky ethno-stomper version made it into MF and not this  7/10

Tango! Tango! - Andrés Esteche - I don't like the original much, and I don't like this version much. 4/10

Night of passion - Sonja Aldén - Wow :o I can't imagine who came up with the idea of making this into a rock song if this was the original demo, it's SO different. Proper Milk Inc style dance production! 9/10

Give me your love - Friends - Pretty similar to the Fame version, except with inferior vocals, I'm glad they gave this to Jessica and Magnus in the end, far more passionate vocalists. Remains a strong pop song though. 8/10

Hörde änglarna viska ditt namn - Martin Kagemark - Yawn, couldn't we have had Linda Pritchard's Hollow on here instead of this? 4/10

A Miracle - Shirley Clamp - As good as the Swedish version, but again I never particularly LOVED the song in the first place. 8/10

Hero - Agnetha Kjörsvik - Oh dear god, what are some of these lyrics? Thank god they were changed! Out of the light in the mind of a hero? Jarring isn't even the word. The great music saves it from disaster. 7/10

Jag ljuger så bra - Jessica Andersson - This doesn't particularly suit Jessica, she may be a stronger vocalist than any of Friends were but compared to Linda Bengtzing she's weak and not overly distinctive. 7/10

Invincible - Sonja Aldén - So was this recorded in English first? And then Carola submitted it to MF in Swedish, only to translate it back to English in ESC, or is this just a random version that Sonja decided to record for fun? I made my thoughts on this clear before - Carola's version DEFINES Schlager perfection for me, and this limp take just doesn't cut it. The key change is one of the most underwhelming things I've ever heard too  I'll take the screeching, wind machines and general OTT-ness from the queen bitch every time! 5/10

Favourites: Run, Gone, Alla Flickor, I Lågornas Sken, Night Of Passion :D

Pritchard's album leaked too!

Tyron, stay calm.

Danny (secretly aged 40) can sod off but it's NICE TO KNOW that Eric couldn't control his fierce heterosexuality.

I've come to the conclusion that Sara Varga is going to win this. :(

I don't know how you've come to that conclusion. Even if she topped the public vote (which I can't see - probably 3rd at best), the international juries are highly unlikely to go for it, which will sink her :(

That said, if she did manage to win, I wouldn't exactly be disappointed: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=126149

iTunes update (finalists only) day before the final;

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u11/gooddelta/popbarssweden.jpg

1. Sara Varga - Spring For Livet

2. The Moniker - Oh My God

3. Eric Saade - Popular

6 & 29. Danny - In The Club (#3 when both versions are combined)

8. Swingfly - Me & My Drum

13. Nicke Borg - Leaving Home (this is falling like a brick in the odds, even behind Sanna now :o)

20. Linda Bengtzing - E det fel på mej

24. Sanna Nielsen - I'm In Love

32. Brolle - Seven Days & Seven Nights

71. The Playtones - The King

It's fair to say that the Andra Chansen qualifiers had more impact than usual this year! This is why I think it's a great idea (although not the duels), it gives the unknowns their chance to shine, as the heats are almost always dominated by the big name stars going through.

I actually really think Sara or the Moniker could do it, I think Danny and Eric will split the votes. Sanna and Linda have no hope sadly :snif:

I know what you mean, if it was Swedish juries only I'd be more confident in Sara's chances but will the international juries really get the message/sentiment of the song? I still think Eric and Danny will both come top three in both the televote and jury vote, but it depends what happens when everything's added up I guess. If Sara managed to be a close third in the international jury votes (somehow) and then topped the televote, then she could edge them both. I now think it's between four songs rather than the six I said before - Eric, Danny, Sara and The Moniker. Nicke and Swingfly have dropped right out of contention I think...neither has any chance of topping the jury vote and they certainly won't top the televote.

I really hope Danny or Eric win this. Nothing else is acseptable :P Well for now at least

If anybody comes across a link for Danny's In The Club album can they pass it my way please!?! It's out today so should leak or be on a torrent soon-ish I guess, but I haven't found it yet...
