March 12, 201114 yr Author I didn't catch how many points did Eric get? :o 193, almost 50 ahead of Danny in the end :o
March 12, 201114 yr 193, almost 50 ahead of Danny in the end :o So if Danny had 14% (70 pts) Eric must've had like 40% :o :o :o
March 12, 201114 yr Author The best result for Sweden ultimately, and they could very easily win with this IMO. Not so sure about that, but it will be interesting to see how they move with the bookies. He'd better not stand in Blue's way :arrr:
March 12, 201114 yr Danny would've been a better choice by miiiiles :( But still is better than Sanna's song which is too gay even for esc  and that silly OMG song...
March 12, 201114 yr Author Oh and Kempe and his 'performed last' songs always do the trick don't they
March 12, 201114 yr Mehhh not too keen on this song tbh. Can't see it troubling the top five anyway...
March 12, 201114 yr Fabulous result. Congratulations Sweden. The people i work with are selfish c**ts so i missed this :( will be hunting for a torrent or buying the DVD to watch this.
March 12, 201114 yr HUZZAH I was watching this from the Harcourt Arms, a Swedish pub (greatest playlists EVER there by the way, you'd love it Rich) with the girl who writes This Must Be Pop and a friend, and it was absolutely fantastic. The crowd went wild for Sanna's 12s and Eric! But yes, the RIGHT and PERFECT winner, and a spectacular top five overall. I'm thinking top five for Eric, if not more - but really, top five is all Sweden need for now.
March 13, 201114 yr I would suggest we are not the ones that are high. Comparatively this is easily one of the best entries.
March 13, 201114 yr I'm thinking Eric won't even qualify. Are you guys high? I agree. But if it gores to the final, can't see it being top 10 there.
March 13, 201114 yr What on EARTH are you people on? You seriously think Eric won't qualify with one of the biggest event performances going, a song which is catchy as hell and an image which got him trending over Lena last year on Twitter after the show was over just by virtue of being onscreen for about a minute to announce Sweden's votes?

March 13, 201114 yr yeah cuz twitter = ESC voting public + the juries  come on, Popular is not half as good as Manboy was tbh. That's not what I was saying. He has a powerful public image, which is just one part of the whole package for him. I personally prefer Popular, but even assuming I didn't I really don't see the logic of thinking it isn't going to qualify because it isn't as good as another song he did.

I said even if he qualifys I can't see him ending up in the top 10. But we should wait and see. we can only predict by then. and for now that's my prediction ^_^
March 13, 201114 yr Author Sweden installed at 10/1 and 7th favourite with the bookies...not that it says much as I think Anna pretty much had the same odds last year. Eric will certainly qualify for the final but I really don't see him having a chance of winning, top ten perhaps...we'll see :o
March 13, 201114 yr Author Just dug up the latest Swedish singles chart, which came out on Friday, the day before the final; 1. Eric Saade (NEW) 2. Danny (29) 9. Loreen (NEW) 10. Swingfly (NEW) 11. Sara Varga (NEW) 13. Nicke Borg (48) 15. The Moniker (NEW) 17. Linda Bengtzing (NEW) 26. Love Generation (NEW) 31. Linda Pritchard (NEW) 42. Sanna Nielsen (NEW) 51. Christian Walz (44) 57. Pernilla Andersson (NEW) 59. Jenny Silver (NEW) Brolle and The Playtones are nowhere. Awful for Sanna, her album did manage to debut at #3 though behind juggernauts September and Lykke Li, so that's something at least...MF has had a much lesser domination this year in the charts than usual, I wonder if next week will be any different
