Though looking back - she needs to ditch that THING. You can see in her feet, she's panicking when that thing starts rotating. She looks bored stiff just stood in that thing. The freedom, the smile, the vocals - they return as soon as she's released from her 'cage'. It won't happen - but I really want them to ditch that thing for the final.

I have no actual faves in the final so far :o :(

have 3 in Ac though: Loreen, LG and Linda P. but can't see any of them winning this whole shiz at the end

Eric is probably the wiser choice but oh Sanna, those pre-chorus synths are life enhancing  Plus it's Sanna, the woman is a legend!

Anders Fernette - Run - Ultimately decent. But just decent, and quite unforgettable, and I'm definitely hoping for better in the heat. Very throwaway, and NEXT PLEASE - 5/10

Melody Club - The Hunter - Another decent song, but as with Anders it was nothing more than that. It had more of a memorable hook - it just felt like it lasted for like 5 minutes. 6/10

Julia Alvgard - Better Or Worse - Nice enough instrumental, but ultimately underwhelming. Her vocals are too soft to suit a song like that, which makes her, as a result, sound quite bored. 6.5/10

Linda Bengtzing - E De Fel Pa Mig - It's no 'Victorious' or 'Not That Kinda Girl' - but still definitely the best so far. I don't really know what the word schlager means, but this was actually really quite good. 7.5/10

Lasse Stefans - A Long Swedish Title - I don't really get why people hate them? It's hardly ear-bleeding offensive stuff, even it is very boring, and old-fashioned. I don't like it, but it's nothing to cry over. 4/10

Nicke Borg - Leaving Home - A bit dull, but a nice enough ballad. Certainly nothing incredible in the slightest. 6.5/10

Linda Pritchard - Alive - Very elegantly done, in what originally felt like an Evanescance track (which I liked). I'm not a fan of these kind of airy ballads, but her vocals were very impressive. 7.5/10

Love Generation - Dance Alone - Not as amazing as their self-titled track, nor is it close to some of the stuff RedOne has done - but far and away the best track of the whole heat. Fantastic! 9/10

Does Leaving Home sound to anybody else like it should soundtrack some suburban US drama/sitcom? It would have been a perfect theme tune for something like Ed

And the song's growing on me far more than it ever should have done...

As a side note, here's my personal ranking of the final so far;

My rank of the final so far;

1. Sanna Nielsen

2. Eric Saade

3. Linda Bengtzing

4. Swingfly

5. Nicke Borg

6. Danny

7. Brolle

8. The Playtones

Not many ladies in the final yet eh? I guess we can always rely on schlager queens of hearts Linda and Sanna  How many MF finals have they appeared in together now? Sadly I can't find any odds yet but the last set I saw had Eric in a convincing lead with Melody Club second and Linda B on 80/1...can't always trust the bookies I guess

1. Linda Bengtzing 9/10

2. Sanna Nielsen 9/10

3. Eric Saade 7/10

4. Danny 7/10

5. Swingfly 7/10

6. Nicke Borg 2/10

7. Brolle 2/10

8. The Playtones 1/10

 Appaling. The worst MF final ever.

When did Sweden become so sexist?! 1/8 males in AC and 2/8 females in Final!

Swedish iTunes (top 50 entries only):

1. In The Club - Danny Saucedo

2. Leaving Home - Nicke Borg

4. E Det Fel Pa Mej - Linda Bengtzing

5. My Heart Is Refusing Me - Loreen

6. Dance Alone - Love Generation

7. Me and My Drum (feat. Christoffer Hiding) - Swingfly

10. I'm In Love - Sanna Nielsen

11. Spring For Livet - Sara Varga

13. Alive - Linda Pritchard

14. 7 Days and 7 Nights - Brolle

15. Something In Your Eyes - Jenny Silver

19. I Thought It Was Forever - Shirley's Angels

20. The Hunter - Melody Club

23. Run - Anders Fernette

26. Oh My God! - The Moniker

27. Like Suicide - Christian Walz

28. Desperados - Pernilla Andersson

31. The King - The Playtones

35. Enemy - Sara Lumholdt

45. No One Else Could - Sebastien

47. Try Again - Dilba

50. Better Or Worse - Julia Alvgard

It's worth noting, for whatever reason, Eric Saade isn't on iTunes yet. Sweden really are crazy for Melodifestivalen though, aren't they?! 22 out of 32 entries are in their Top 50!

THIS is what a song performed by an old bag should sound like, Sweden. *cough* Lasse, Py Backman, etc. *cough*

Danny now up to #1! Maybe I did vastly underestimate it, I mean it was from the first week and it's still shot past the competition :o

I'm sure Eric would be #1 if he was available though. Note how whilst some of the finalists underperform, ALL four of the top half of AC are currently top 15 on iTunes yet only one can pass to Globen, so unfair :(

We finally have some odds for the final :D

Eric Saade 2/1

Danny Saucedo 7/1

Love Generation 8/1

Nicke Borg 15/1

Swingfly 15/1

Linda Bengtzing 20/1

Sanna Nielsen 22/1

The Playtones 22/1

Brolle 24/1

The Moniker 40/1

Jenny Silver 50/1

Loreen 60/1

Linda Pritchard 75/1

Pernilla Andersson 75/1

Sara Varga 75/1

Shirleys Angels 75/1

Only 22/1 for Sanna, how awful! I guess my slim hopes of her finishing top 3 are fading quickly...Eric will almost certainly storm to victory but I just can't see Danny finishing 2nd (even though he's #1 on iTunes!), surely they're going for the EXACT same fanbase? Interesting for Love Generation, maybe they could be the song that I'm expecting to qualify out of AC and finish top 3? Nicke Borg for dark horse anyone? It's got the 'final week' boost, it's very anthemic and a massive grower...ticks all the boxes...He could finish 2nd behind Eric :o As long as Sanna finishes above Brolle and The Playtones in the final, I won't be too upset, she's obviously not going to win.

Those do not correlate with the odds of 5/4 for Eric I found elsewhere :o

These are from 'braodds' whatever that is...

Where did you see those? 5/4 is absolutely insane :o Then again, there's about as much chance Eric will represent Sweden this year as there is that Lena will represent Germany!

I may have seen them on Moopy or during a Google search, but either way I definitely saw 5/4 somewhere...
Hmmm I think an each-way bet on Loreen looks VERY tempting right now!!
On Eric's website it says that 'Popular' is available for download tommorow. It also says that Eric himself wanted to release it tommorow.
