I was browsing Ladbrokes putting a bet on Arsenal vs. Barcelona football match at about 6pm and checked the MF odds at the same time - Sara was at 4/1, I had another fiver to spend, and I've always had a sneaking suspicion that the song would get to the final, although less so when I saw the 3 songs that she was up against - but she trounced them :D

I don't really care if that 01/02 mix up thing was a fix or not - both songs are awful :D

I know I'm living in hope, but PLEASE let Loreen and Jenny get byes to the final off the back of this. It would be the only way to make up for the genuine disaster that was tonight.

Well...I'm going to take a stab at predicting the final (assuming that this voting scandal is brushed under the carpet)

Eric should still easily win, yes Danny's been ahead on iTunes most of the week but so were his band E.M.D. two years ago - he sells records! But I just can't see him coming higher than 2nd. The mature vote will obviously go to Sara Varga and she could just about pull off a Caroline Af Ugglas, maybe coming in a tiny bit lower but I wouldn't rule out 2nd for her :o We can pray for this bottom three but knowing Sweden this year, maybe they'll all end up in the top five :drama:

Given the voting amounts each year, I don't think they could argue that the first duel tallied less than 1000 votes during the recap. News anyway: apparently SVT may have discounted the votes during the recap and gone on the result from the first lot, which may have stayed the same anyway. My Swedish is rusty.

Fair enough, I figured that they'd probably do that. What they should also do though is refund everyone who voted whilst the recaps were on, hell why not everyone who voted at all! Doesn't this just bring back memories of the BBC votegate scandal from a few years ago! :o

IT'S OVER TYRON :drama: They're clearly not going to do anything to rectify this error...if this happened on X Factor the media furore would be intense! I guess the UK just get more worked up over these sorts of things (and rightly so if people are losing money!)
