I really hope that this somehow manages to make top 40.. I love her voice and shes a great live singer..It will be a shame to see this flop

 

The Wanted are doing a few single signings next week so their physical sales should be pretty high

I think Wanted's sales will be very frontloaded - I'm not sure if they'll be able to sustain it for the week.

 

 

I thought that too. But tbh regardless of quality it'd be interesting to have a song that was hotly hyped for #1 beaten to the pulp. It makes the charts less predictable.

I suppose it'd be a better #1 than Billionaire which has already been #1 hundreds of times over, but neither song is awfully great. I'd love Swedish House Mafia to pull a big upset and go to #1. Their EP (£1.99 for 8 tracks :| Shoulda looked at that before I bought 3 of them separately) is #2 on the albums chart and the 4 versions in the iTunes top 300 are flying up (64, 79, 150 and 208) so you never know.

I think it's a cover of some Janet Leon song, but yeah, i have some British Asian friends who have got all of there friends to buy it aswell, and it's quite good, hopeful for a top 40 place. I know this British Asian music channel, I think it's 'BritAsia?', has her on non-stop.

Yeah I read that too, but I'm sure it wasn't strictly a cover, I think some minor pop star wrote it and recorded a demo so someone thought it was a cover, but I'm not 100% sure.

The Wanted must have tele appearances next week how odd that R1 did not playlist when they are obviously popular with teens and the song was going to do well.FloRida's video is everywhere now so he will definately go Top 5.Dont much care for Billionaire but hoping Preeya can at least go Top 50 it would be great to see more Asian singers in the charts.

There was a big gap between 22 & 23 but Magnetic Man have overcome it really quickly :o Expect them to shoot up to 14 very soon

It's a cover of Shimmy Shimmy by Janet Leon, a Swedish singer. It's not a demo, it's actually from her debut album which she released last year. I know as I bought it when I was in Sweden last year, hence the song was instantly familiar to me when I heard Preeya's version :heehee:
