Didn't realise Row 1 wasn't showing on my spreadsheet...

Great contest! Some amazing songs <3

Surprised at how well 'Perfect Day' did, 7th is amazing! I was expecting much lower.

I thought Perfect Day would do better. It's wonderful, in my opinion.

Thanks to Mark and well done to Danny for winning. I did like the song, it was a little too Passion Pit to be excellent but still a good winner.

And thank you to those who voted for me. (: I received an unusual mix (usually either 1's or 2's or 15's) of voted but I'm glad those who liked it really did so!

It's a gorgeous song. One of my favourite songs - didn't think it'd appeal to as many people as it did. ^_^

I'm a bit disappointed that my entry, Republic of Loose, didn't do better than 20th. It serves me right for entering a song for myself rather than what I think people will enjoy. Good to see a few people liked it though.

A deserved winner and 3rd place, although I really didn't like the HEALTH track, which is weird as it's normally the sort of thing I'd expect to like.

It's also nice to see that my pre-results predictions for who was responsible for each track was quite off the mark. I thought that Klaus Nomi track belonged to Tony, whilst I could've bet my right arm that Simon was responsible for entering the lovely David Holmes.

Thanks again to Mark for organizing it, and to everyone for submitting such groovy music.

So you didn't think I'd enter something as mad as Klaus Nomi? I really loved the David Holmes track but marked it down because I already knew it so you were right to think it's the sort of thing I'd like. I'm afraid Republic of Loose just didn't do anything for me :(

good comp, was hoping i'd do a bit better, apparently my MP3 was $h!te quality which I only found out the other day, which may of lost me some votes which is a shame, i listen to it in FLAC myself so i have a $h!t FLAC>mp3 converter, i did alright i guess. congrats to Doctor Blind, and woo for HEALTH being high, whats kind of annoying is that I actually considered entering HEALTH myself, amazing band.

im seeing them at Reading Fest this year should be intense. and of course they supported Nine Inch Nails final ever shows!!

enjoyyy and get ready to mosh, it was insane, i'm pretty sure i was one of the few people not on crack/heroin/meth/cocaine though, i was just regular weed high
im always ready to mosh. which is also why right now i f***ing stink of sweat. but yeah most people at Reading Fest are normally on drugz anyway, i'll most likely be high when they are on anyway. I have seen Crystal Castles aswell so I know the drill.

i'm seeing crystal castles for the first time ever in august so i'll have to see of those two which as the most insane moshing. thus far it's been 1) HEALTH 2) double dagger 3) peaches lol, but i'm sure CC will top the last two. HEALTH moshing was literally out of control though, i thought i was going to get seriously injured at points. may have just been the paranoia tho (p.s. you'd like double dagger a lot i think?)

and yeah def. see them under SOME sort of influence, they're just that kind of band. who'd you just get back from seeing? ;o

I just got back from Sonic Boom Six, 4th time I have seen them, was cool, fun pit lots of dancing/skanking/moshing, they make sort of ska punk but mix in loads of other genres, bit of hip hop bit of reggae their first album is even called 'the ruff guide to genre terrorism' but yeah, they are good.

but yeah im no stranger to a mosh, biggest moshes for me = 1. Rage Against The Machine, 2. Nine Inch Nails, 3. i hate to say it but Pendulum, massive crowd, circle pits everywhere. i see loads of punk bands as well so it sjust natural.
