How many voters left?

I'm guessing nine, unless there are more non-contestants voting...

People finally seeing sense that Health is just a good track and not an amazing one.

Look, I just listsned to it and it's good but it fails to develop like The Kiss or Rosco do. Evern Sponsered by Destiny does more. This is just my opinion.

Suedehead... where did you get that Klaus Nomi track from?

We usually are fairly similar with our tastes but it was one of only 2 that were immediately deleted by me! :(

Normal service is resumed at the top with 'Young Blood' getting another 12 taking its tally to 146, 58 points ahead of Pallers who move up to second. Can it reach 200? A second consecutive 15 for Kurran and the Wolfnotes moves it into 7th and it now looks good for a top 10 placing.

Roscoe is a nice indie track, but I'm tired of it. Heard it way back when it was first release. Maybe I'm a little biased though because I'm aware of how crappy Midlake's output has been sine that song, which is a shame because Roscoe is a strong track.

I dunno, you kind of have to listen to HEALTH's albums in context to understand what USA Boys so great, it's this mix of a pop/electronic hook and these elements of drone that were present on their first two albums. Imma just put on my whateva whateva shoes B)

Another maximum points for The Naked and Famous mean that with 6 votes still to be revealed it needs just 18 points to guarentee victory and can become victorious with the next set of votes. Some songs near the bottom pick up some valuable points, Caitlin Rose climbs three places from the bottom and Utada now just needs one point to reach double figures.

That's cool. I hadn't heard any Midlake before this cometition, or any HEALTH either.

I entered it partly because it's very different from my usual tastes. It's completely bonkers but I've always loved it since I first heard it about 30 years ago. I can't remember how I heard it but I suspect it was John Peel. Klaus Nomi also did a completely whacky version of Falling In Love Again and a surprisingly straight version of Can't Help Falling In Love - more like the Elvis version than the Stylistics version. Total Eclipse (not of the heart) is even more bonkers. He was a German singer who died of Aids in the early 80s.

Lightning Strikes was originally a hit for Lou Christie in the 60s sounding rather like the Four Seasons but I assumed most people wouldn't know the song.

Sorry you hated it :(
