Looks like aphrodite on this forum is the clear faveourite for third single.

Its not only Buzzjack. A lot of fans on the offical forum like it to. Better than "Put your hands up". Prob one of the most generic pop tracks on the album and dont even get my started on the cheesy lyrics lol

It's not about how good it is, it's just not suitable for a single. It's a fabulous song but the public don't want something so 90s, and cheesy, and gay, sorry to say.

Cupid Boy would be a good single, it is so different for Kylie and has grown alot lately

Of course its based on how good a song is. Put your hands up for example is just boring and generic with terrible lyrics. Aphrodite is far less cheesy, in fact I dont think its cheesy at all. In my opinion it doesnt sound 90s and i would love to know what you mean by it sounding "gay"

Giving you up was an ok song but was never really strong. I can kinda get the Rhythm Nation thing but thats a good thing imo. And talking about cheesy lyrics. For a 40+ woman telling people to "put their hands" if they feel love, is just cringeworthy lol

hmm the more I listen to Better Than Today the more I think it could end up being that (or maybe 4th single)

Apparantly prior to the relase of the album, there were 5 planned singles. and are as follows

1. All the Lovers

2. Get Out of My Way

3. Put Your hands Up

4. Too Much

5. Aphrodite

 

They have been shocked by the lack of reaction to put your hands up and are considering Too Much as the Third Single. Can't Beat the Feeling is also said to now be in the running for 3 or 4.

 

There has never been a fifth single, so i'm a bit miffed at this. All I can think of is that a tour is in the pipeline for late may/early summer, especially considering the choice of the fifth single (Aphrodite will def be the last single apparantly). Maybe with a repackaged tour edition of the album.

 

Personally, whilst I like all the tracks, I do not feel that there is any other single material other than ALT GOOMW and Aphrodite (although, I do feel it needs re-recording). Heartstrings should have made the proper album, I do hope that is made a single.
