I agree, I don't like that combination. but it lloks like Parlo are thinking the same. based on Kylie's Tweets, i think it mey be her thats pushing for Put Your hands Up, which I personally think is very weak.

PYHU is pretty good :o She should have a new mix of Aphrodite for the tour and release it then.

Can't Beat the Feeling is also said to now be in the running for 3 or 4.

Apparantly prior to the relase of the album, there were 5 planned singles. and are as follows

1. All the Lovers

2. Get Out of My Way

3. Put Your hands Up

4. Too Much

5. Aphrodite

 

They have been shocked by the lack of reaction to put your hands up and are considering Too Much as the Third Single. Can't Beat the Feeling is also said to now be in the running for 3 or 4.

 

There has never been a fifth single, so i'm a bit miffed at this. All I can think of is that a tour is in the pipeline for late may/early summer, especially considering the choice of the fifth single (Aphrodite will def be the last single apparantly). Maybe with a repackaged tour edition of the album.

 

Personally, whilst I like all the tracks, I do not feel that there is any other single material other than ALT GOOMW and Aphrodite (although, I do feel it needs re-recording). Heartstrings should have made the proper album, I do hope that is made a single.

I hope that's true, kinda. well, more not because I have a feeling that 'put your hands up' would bomb and curse the era, leaving 'too much' to do not do so well at all. although at least 'too much' would still be a single, which would satisfy me. :P

'can't beat the feeling' is alright too but I doubt that would be a single as it's the last song on the album, and those are rarely released. plus there are a couple others that would do better.

I'm not sure PYHU would make a strong 3rd single, it's a good song and might do ok as a single but there are more standout tracks from the album which would make people listen up and take notice.

Put your hands up should have been the 2nd single, its much stronger than Get out of my way. I really hope its the 3rd single.
