November 12, 201014 yr The irish itunes shows u cant really go by for the offical chart, take that were top 5 all week on itunes and shockingly ended up number 8 in the offical chart which i cant really understand, and the saturdays are the 2nd album. I dlove to know how uch itunes accounts for total sales in Ireland.
November 14, 201014 yr Im sure they will manage at least 20,000 sales again this week which will be great.
November 14, 201014 yr Im sure they will manage at least 20,000 sales again this week which will be great. I think more around 25,000+; hopefully :)
November 14, 201014 yr Author Sales will be very close this week. Everyone on the iTunes chart this week has been up and down like a yoyo.
November 14, 201014 yr Author Pink sold 33K at #13, so surely Higher sold 30Kish this week too? Sales will be close, but anything from 25-30k will be likely.
November 17, 201014 yr Author It'll probabbly do anything from 15-20k this week. I was a bit over estimative last week giving Higher such a massive estimated sales figure (25-30k, lol) as it only managed 23k, which I suppose is close, but still. #20 did 16k this week, and Higher is fluctuating Top 25 on iTunes, so i'm un-sure if this'll be #19 come Sunday. But they have got Children In Need on Friday which should hopefully give it another week Top 20.
November 18, 201014 yr Higher 22 on Itunes :( I hope it gets top 15 next sunday though with cin and t4, i dont think it will make much impact but maybe top 20 again. November 22 Beady Eye: 'Bring The Light' Charlotte Church: 'Logical World' Duffy: 'Well Well Well' Good Charlotte: 'Like It's Her Birthday' Jason Derulo: 'The Sky's The Limit' Olly Murs: 'Thinking Of Me'The Script: 'Nothing' Shaheen: 'Last Train Home' / 'Hip Teens (Don't Wear Blue Jeans)' 'X Factor' Finalists: 'Heroes' Those 3 will knock Sats down :(
November 18, 201014 yr Author Higher 22 on Itunes :( I hope it gets top 15 next sunday though with cin and t4, i dont think it will make much impact but maybe top 20 again. It's been Top 40 now for over 8 weeks, so it's gonna start slipping now, especially with the last promo performances coming up this week. Idealy it should have another 4wks (including this week too) Top 40, with declines in about 5-6 places per week. Another 4wks Top 10 (including this week) could fetch them around the region of 40-50k minimum, bringing totals up to 200k. Then it should hopefully have another 6-8wks + out of the Top 40 into the #41 - #99 positions. Depending on which half of the #41 - #99 Higher falls in, it could generate another 25k minimum. But it may linger Top 50 so that figure shouldn't be taken into account too much. Overall, Higher should do a total of 225k+ minimum which would place Higher in the Top 5 of The Sats top selling singles. The possible gap between #5 and #4 is 20k, and the gap between #5 and #3 and around 35k, which depending on the climate of the chart, could work in The Sats favour and bump Higher into the Top 3 along with Up and Ego. Headlines on the other hand may not have that long left, unless they hatch out an 'Issues' plan and release 'Died In Your Eyes' or.. 'Here Standing' as the 3rd single. They're both good songs, but wether the public buys into them is another story with Died In Your Eyes being a bit of an average single, and with Here Standing being a 2009 track from their previous album 'Wordshaker'. It's worrying how little Higher helped boost the album back up the Top 40, only re-entering for a week after a 10 week Top 40 run, which was down to their massive promotion scheduelle, Missing You (believe it or not) and their short reality TV series on ITV2. Considering it's now the Christmas market, this could either get lost with all the new releases and drop out the Top 100 in a matter of 3-4 weeks, or it could linger Top 100. Either way up untill Christmas, your looking at 15-20k which would bring sales up to 120k for Headlines, minimum by the end of the year, which adding everything up, that half of it is a past album, and it sold more than the previous album etc, Headlines has served its purpose well.
November 19, 201014 yr Back up to #18 on iTunes, and the other versions have leaped up alot as well. :D
November 19, 201014 yr Author Suprised to get to #17 from #22 as it had to have about a 1/3 in a popularity increase Edited November 19, 201014 yr by olm-remix
