Well I think its been well publisised about Ronaldo wanting a move away from Man Utd, but you can see why  . Theres also still mounted speculation about Nisterlrooy leaing with Bayern and Real Madrid intrested. On today fresh rumors have surfaced about Heinze leaving for Real Madrid, which seems a tad out of the blue to me. If they did sell all those three players then, it would give Fergie a lot of money to spend which could be all important in getting some of the players from Italy that are involved in the match-fixing scandal.

if all of these players stayed AND they bought a world class midfielder they would still be in trouble next season. (Ronaldo and Van Nistelrooy are v important for Man United, the latter more for depth incase someone is injured).

If they lost these two what then? They really are looking now more like a very good team rather than a world class team.

Torres is on his way there apparently with Horse Face off to Real, Torres is unproven and could turn out to be another Rebrov

We already have Berbatov, Zokora and with several more on the way I can see us finishing ahead of Man Utd this year

Personally as Man U I want to see Ronaldo go as what he did at the World Cup is unforgivable of course... however selling Ruud would be a HUGE mistake :( same with Heinze.. there are better players that can play down the right than Ronaldo (imo he should play in the centre of up front) as his crossing isn't really up to standard so as much as he was a good player for us I think he's replacable (I don't hold much hope but I would like Lennon but if Spurs won't sell Carrick then we won't get him either  ) the long term Keane replacement needs to be sorted out if we ever want to win the title again and imo we might possibly need another too with that and if we sell Ronaldo then maybe a right sided midfielder unless Fergie feels Fletcher is THAT good which I don't know...
Well, as much as it pains me to say it, if we lose them three then we WILL be in trouble next season as they are in my opinion three of our key figureheads in our team. For Ronaldo there are a few replacements that could have the same threat like Kaka and possibly Odonkur but Heinze really is one of those players that just works so well with Uniteds line-up. We'll struggle to find another solid left back like him that can link up so will with Giggs/Park Ji-Sung or whoever. Van Nistelrooy will be a loss as well but, to be fair, we had one hell of a great run towards the end of last season and he probably played around 150 minutes of football through the lot of it.

Why won't Berbatov be another Rebrov? There's more chance of that tbh...

You coped really well without Heinze for virtually ALL of last season, he's no huge loss

Possibly but he is a big strong guy and one of Rebrov's main failings was that he was physically weak and easily bundled off the ball

Well if Man Utd buy Torres they they'd be taking a huge gamble. He looked good for Spain in world cup, but thats because hardly any strikers were top notch. He only played good once and is hugely over-rated IMO.

On the Spurs topic i'm still not convinced that they'll be able to keep up with Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool and possibly Arsenal. They've got some good players but still, I don't think they'll be able to maintain a title challange.

Chelsea have won the title till Abramovich goes, they have a slightly bad run of form another £100m will come out of the wallet

I think Spurs are at Arsenal's level now, I don't think the EPL last season was a fluke I can see us getting 4th this season

Liverpool, all it takes is an injury to Gerrard and they are screwed I reckon, they have a lot of very good players but Gerrard is the difference between them and us I reckon

Utd are still in great financial shape so I see them holding onto 2nd for forseeable future

I agree that your on par with Arsenal, but with Liverpool everybody seems to think there c**p withour Gerrard, which isn't true anymore, it used to be, but it isn't any more ^_^ . I don't think Liverpool will win the Premiership this season but I think it'll be close between us Chelsea and Man Utd. Liverpool haven't singed any big name players, but they've got an extremley good new left back, a young Argentinian centre back, Bellamy and Mark Gonzales (cannot wait to see him play), add those to some good youngsters coming through, and probably another 2 signings, I think we'll be in good shape this year.

Yeah, it was proved on a number of ocassions last season that Liverpool don't depend on Gerrard and can cope fine without him but I really hate people that say "They are nothing without Gerrard". Because that is rubbish he just makes Liverpool better, they don't suddenly perform horribly without one man it is ridiculous.
