I think it was a really good year for number-ones. Better than this year anyway (although 2010 is getting better now).

 

I didn't do very well in the quiz though. I seem to have forgotten about a lot of the number-ones from that year. The ones I remember are the ones that had amazing runs in the top 10 (basically, Just Dance, Poker Face, Boom Boom Pow, I Gotta Feeling, Meet Me Halfway and Bad Romance), and the ones that I really, really liked (e.g. Meet Me Halfway, Never Leave You, Bonkers, When Love Takes Over, etc.).

 

The one that took me longest to remember was I'm Not Alone. It took me literally minutes to remember the melody of the song! :o It's a good song though, just haven't been exposed to it in about 9 months.

That was hard for me. Got right only six of those.

 

The Fear, I'm Not Alone and Bulletproof stand out from that list. Amazing songs compared to some others

 

Shame that McFly didn't have a no. 1 last year
