November 11, 201014 yr I love the fact that nearly all the tracks are based on 80s samples, not that you younguns would have noticed  The cover and the first single show that it's all about having found and being young, so they're thinking back to that time. All good so far :D
November 14, 201014 yr This albu is gona do well although will miss out on number 1 due to the release date. Amazingly black eyed peas have had 3 huge selling album to date and have yet to reach number 1 in the album chart, i do hope one day they finally get a number 1 album, although i know sales are far more important.
November 16, 201014 yr Author 'Do It Like This!' has been released to US iTunes. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CxuJCsJ4jDM/TOIH3wjxjgI/AAAAAAAADHw/aNbWU6uU39c/Do%20It%20Like%20This%20-%20Single.jpg
November 16, 201014 yr Actually, after a few listens its quite annoying... Does anyone else thing 5:29 is a bit too long for 1 song? If the song is amazing though, i wouldn't mind so much... But this is far from AMAZING.
November 16, 201014 yr Well, it's far better than 'The Time'. Having said that, it's almost like they're desperately trying to recreate 'Imma Be' and completely failing. It's not to do with the length of the song at all for me, one of my favourite songs of the year is 25 minutes long! I have a feeling this era is going to be a BIG disappointment.
November 16, 201014 yr Yes, a lot like "Imma Be", which I hated at first but it eventually grew on me a bit. Very annoying, and I prefer The Time. Does anyone else thing 5:29 is a bit too long for 1 song? Not really. Most tracks on the latest Taylor Swift album are quite long, the longest being nearly 7mins - and it's great. I prefer it when songs are a bit longer, as two of my favourite songs of the year (Satellite & Airplanes) are far too short :(
November 20, 201014 yr I love the fact that nearly all the tracks are based on 80s samples, not that you younguns would have noticed  The cover and the first single show that it's all about having found and being young, so they're thinking back to that time. All good so far :D I'm pretty sure everybody in the world recognizes the samples in The Time, Love You Long Time, etc. It's not like those songs stopped being played on the radio when the 80s ended (unfortunately ). I think Someday sounds amazing! :o I agree that Do It Like This is like Imma Be, Part II. And Own It reminds me a bit of Sleazy by Ke$ha. There's not many tracks that stand out to me, although, to be fair, I highly doubt people would've thought I Gotta Feeling would end up being the best-selling digital song of all-time by its preview clip. Edited November 20, 201014 yr by Eric_Blob
November 21, 201014 yr Author I was thinking of downloading it, but I'll just get it for Christmas (hopefully!) :D
November 21, 201014 yr Basically an album of 'The E.N.D.' rejects. The only ones I like are 'Someday', 'Just Can't Get Enough' and 'XOXOXO'. Most of it is dreadful.
November 21, 201014 yr I just don't 'get it'. Only about halfway through, 'Whenever' is fantastic, 'Fashion Beats' is passable, but everything else is crap.
November 21, 201014 yr Im listening now... Its so disappointing. XOXOXO is my favourite so far.
November 25, 201014 yr From the clips, I am gonna enjoy The Time, Fashion Beats, Do It Like This, The Situation, and Own It. However, I don't think I will be buying this album. Alot of their CDs I feel have a few great hits and the rest of the songs are fillers. Does anyone else get a Gwen Stefani feel from this CD? As I was listening to the songs, I was thinking "This beat sounds so Gwen Stefani"
November 25, 201014 yr I love their little characters! http://img5.imagebanana.com/img/f1shaqnp/Booklet1.jpg
November 30, 201014 yr #15 in the first set of album midweeks, i hope it can make the top 10 on sunday. Im really surprised and disapointed with its opening performance.
December 3, 201014 yr I was interested in the album. Then I listened to the snippets and got uninterested. But I think I have to hear the songs in full.
