August 6, 201014 yr Shut Up & Drive is shockingly underrated. Probably her most 'fun' song. Pon De Replay is good, not spectacular though in respect. Repetetive.
August 6, 201014 yr 'Pon De Replay' sounds so dated now. :( Hardly ever play it now. WTF @ 'Let Me' getting into the Top 10 as well. Glad 'Cold Case Love', 'Rehab', 'Russian Roulette' and 'Disturbia' made Top 20. :wub: All stunning songs. 'Umbrella' is blatantly going to win.

I don't agree that this is as amazing as people say but it is a very strong album track. I think it's overrated, or getting overrated though unfortunately. Favourite lyric: 'Fire department, ambulance you can call me crazy coz I believe the only move for me and you is to go out blazing'

I find it pretty overrated if I'm honest, and I wouldn't place it within her Top 10 of all time. I think the sound-a-like bonus track 'Cry' is much superior. Favourite lyric: 'I don't wanna be, a murderer'

EVERYTHING about it is fierce to the nth degree, and she pulls off the cocky attitude ridiculously well. The label totally f***ed up the release of it though and it will be lucky to go Top 40 here. Still, a great song with her best lyric of all time. Favourite lyric: 'That Rihanna reign just won't let up'

This remains her biggest hit, multiple weeks at #1 all over the world and one of the few songs to hit #1 in most of the countries it was released in. This opened many doors for her and will easily go down in history as a classic pop record. It's just brilliant, and to this day still sounds fresh and hasn't dated at all! Favourite lyric: 'May be in magazines, but you'll still be my star'

August 8, 201014 yr 'Fire Bomb' is stunning. :wub: Absolutely adore it. 'Unfaithful' and 'Umbrella' are definetly up there with my favourite Rihanna singles as well.
August 9, 201014 yr 'Fire Bomb' is now my favourite RiRi song ever I think. It came on my iPod today, on shuffle and I'm just not tiring of it :wub: It's stunning. Worthy of it's Top 10 positioning. 'Don't Stop The Music' will now win imo. 'Umbrella' deserved to go top 3 though, it's a modern pop classic. 'Unfaithful' is odd, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't... 'Hard' is brilliant too, although I'd personally say that's the most overrated song on 'Rated R'. I mean it's really good, but not THAT good...
August 9, 201014 yr Firebomb - brilliant, but a tad overated Unfaithful - is amazing imo, the first song that really got me into her Hard - amazing, one of her best ever songs imo Umbrella - brilliant song, but is no way her best, glad it isnt in the top 3! Rude Boy ftw!

This was her first US #1 single and her 2nd #2 here. I think it's a good song but it relies too heavily on the sample. I like how she didn't do a dull direct cover though and attempted to switch it up. Favourite lyric: 'I'm obsessive when just one thought of you comes up'
