I quite like Timbaland as a producer, but I really wanted an album of acoustic/piano pop songs from Demi!

Me too. After 'Skyscraper', I thought we were going to be getting a very personal album from her, drifting from her Disney sound before though. It seems like it's still planned to be an R&B album, though. :(

Apparently the album is out September 20 in the US :D So we might get another single before then!

Demi confirmed via Twitter that the album title is Unbroken. Great title! :)

I agree, a great title and like the lyrics of 'Skyscraper' it goes well with her personal life :D

 

Timbaland can be ok, I guess it depends who he's with. I love Katy Perry and thus loved the song he did with her. We like Demi, so hopefully we'll like what he does with her.

I absolutely adore 'Skyscraper' - one of my songs of the year actually. Hoping for more songs like that, I really don't want her going down the whole club banger route :(.

Great album title, hopefully we'll have more songs like Skyscraper, plus seeing as Timbaland is working on the album and he can be great at producing things that aren't generic R&B, I'm hoping for songs like If We Ever Meet Again and We Belong To The Music.

Demi just confirmed on Twitter that the album will be released on September 20! It shouldn't be long until we get the new single. :D

No idea. :( It'll probably depend on when the UK album release date is, they'll probably release 'Skyscraper' a week before the album.

I'm actually quite liking 'Skyscraper' now, after immediately thinking it to be an utter yawnfest. Can't say it makes me excited for an album by her though. Also, surely the Timbaland duet is more likely to be for 'Shock Value III' than her own album...?

Sounds like it will be more of R&B sound, if there's collabs with Dev, DeRulo, Missy and Timbaland - looking forward to the album for sure, much as I would've liked a piano-pop/acoustic album, her previous 2 albums were very strong so hopefully this follows suit ^_^ Especially looking forward to the Dev collab, love her!

I'm having trouble imagining Demi Lovato do a song with the likes of Missy & Timbaland tbh. :mellow: I really enjoyed 'Skyscraper' and it gave her her biggest hit to date in the US ... she should've stuck with that sound imo :(.
