Funny though, 2 contests ago I was fortunate enough to be Top 5 on occasions.

I think everyone's standards have really picked up, where as mine have plateaued due to software limitations :P.

For the record Russ, I always look at the covers and find them really interesting. I look forward to it each week (well make sure I view it at least) and occasionally vote now and then. I personally don't make covers because I don't have the time at the moment and my artwork isn't half as good as some of the others on here. :( But I definetly see where you're coming from .... maybe it just isn't to everyone's taste? *Shrug*

Steve, you could change color of Travie McCoy font into mauve or something very light beacuse black on something dark is not easy to view... Except that, your cover is amazing!

#1 i think Russ, it's very elegant, while i feel the second one is a bit weird.

:lol: I agree - I think it's a showroom dummy - which is what Roxy Music used for their 'Manifesto' cover.... their covers are AMAZING... well worth checking... each one a work of art :heart:

 

I think the first one's my favourite, too....

The second one scares me, first one is in fashion style, sticking to Bryan Ferry's usual covers. :)

Ha. I love the second one... mainly because of the woman (or man? haha).

I like the first one... its looks much cleaner to the eye.
