But seriously, Adele deserved it, two amazing songs from two amazing artists (BTW a little higher for having addressed controversial issues when the world was much more intolerant than it is today) :clap:

So I made an estimate on how much each of BTW's first three singles sold in their first seven days and their actual positions if they had been released on Sunday, the standard day for releases at the time in the UK:

 

- Born This Way would have sold 127k, hitting #1 in its early week or its original week scheduled for release.

- Judas would have sold 48k, hitting #4 in its early week or its original week set to be released.

- TEOG would have sold 51k, hitting #4 in its early week or #3 in its original week scheduled for release.

 

To put it mildly, she wasted a #1 hit and two top 5 hits by pulling the release date for these singles. How stupid.
