August 21, 201014 yr Author whoopsie it's only from the Twilight soundtrack. But still it's penciled in for release in Novemeber.
August 26, 201014 yr Supposed to be getting a proper November release? :o That would be amazing. My favourite Florence song, but yeah, I'm bound to love anything on a Twilight soundtrack :kink:
August 26, 201014 yr I didn't think this was going to get a proper release! :o Hopefully it does well though, I wonder what it will be released from though. The 'Eclipse' soundtrack? Re-release? New album?
September 15, 201014 yr They should release "Girl with one Eye" at some point. I love this song. Especially the Bayou persussion version :D
September 15, 201014 yr I'm quite disappointed from the video tbh. :( Official release is on 15th November.
September 17, 201014 yr Well she decided to put the (+machine) making herself 'and something' so she isnt solo, meaning it is they. But i always refer to her as her. Anyway, not her best, but i think it'll do well. She may be criticised for screaming towards the end but i like it.
September 17, 201014 yr Her not they. Just sayin' ^_^ it's they isn't it?.. Edited September 17, 201014 yr by 152.chris
September 25, 201014 yr 'Heavy In Your Arms' & 'Between Two Lungs' Fri 24 Sep, 2010 On November 15th Florence & The Machine will release the single 'Heavy In Your Arms'. The track is a highlight of both this year's festival season the third installment of the 'Twilight: Eclipse' film. Here's what Florence has to say: “Heavy In Your Arms I suppose is about the weight of love, and how sometimes it can be a burden between two people. I felt this was a strong theme in the Twilight series, is someone being rescued or are they being condemned? And is the love you carry bringing you down. "I recorded it with Paul (Epworth) one evening, using a lot of strange reversed vocal samples and big hip hop piano. It's basically inspired by 90's hip hop, and gospel choirs, like most of my songs.” 'Heavy In Your Arms' will also feature on 'Between Two Lungs', a special two-disc edition of Flo's award-winning 'Lungs' debut. Also released on November 15, 'Between Two Lungs' will feature new sleeve art, sleeve notes by Florence and a ten track second disc packed with exclusive live versions and remixes, including Flo's massive Brit Awards collaboration with Dizzee Rascal 'You Got The Dirtee Love'. That Disc 2 tracklisting in full: 1.Heavy In Your Arms 2.You’ve Got The Dirtee Love 3.Hurricane Drunk (The Horrors Remix) 4.Strangeness & Charm (Live from Hammersmith Apollo) 5.Swimming (Live From Hammersmith Apollo) 6.Dog Days Are Over (Yeasayer Remix) From her official website. Very exciting news! :)

November 3, 201014 yr Pretty good song. "Drumming Song" is still her best. I'd say "Rabbit Heart.." - or at least that's the one that performed the best on my personal chart at the time it was out. "Drumming Song" stalled at No 2. Oh and this album campaign has been going on since July 2008 for me - that's when I first charted "Kiss With A Fist". :P I'm glad she's getting all this recognition from the general public but I wish she'd just move on to album number 2. Anyway "Heavy In Your Arms" is ok, nowhere near as good as the SEVEN singles before it though.
