Like Vanessa Amorosi for the females, Kid Cudi has finished last in the top 100. Reason? Perhaps that so many hip-hop rappers/singers are in the top 100 who are more well known to Buzzjack that he has suffered slightly, saying that tho some of his singles have been big hits over here, esp. Day 'N' Nite & his appearance on the David Guetta track 'Memories'. Kid Cudi has also collaborated with other top 100 artist such as Kanye West & Jay-Z and has had success in acting too. The sequel to his first album, Man On The Moon: The End of Day will be released later in the year.

Favourite Song: Make Her Say (from Man On The Moon: The End Of Day) with Kanye West & Common

As the lead vocalist of one of the more influential bands in music history, you'd think he'd rank a little higher than 99, but saying that, I didn't vote for him in my 25... Sir Mick Jagger is a singer-songwriter from Kent, who's music stems back to 1961, his work with the Rolling Stones will undoubtably live on, and so will his much media-highlighted love life and offspring, he has also had success as a soloist, with four studio albums and a number one single with David Bowie (Dancing In The Street).

Favourite Song: Ruby Tuesday (from Between The Buttons (US Version) as part of The Rolling Stones

98 Jónsi Birgisson (34pts)

Here's someone whom I knew absolutely nothing about, till I did my research. Birgisson is the lead singer of Icelandic band Sigur Rós, whom have recieved mainstream success over there, including four number 1 studio albums, he has a rather brilliant falsetto voice and is an accomplished guitarist. He's also rather pleasant on the eyes , which is always a help!

Favourite Song: Hengilas (from Go)

John Legend is a very gifted American soul singer and songwriter, who's albums have long been a staple gift for anniversaries/birthdays/mother's day. Legend, as well as having an awesome surname, is not as known for his singles as he is his albums. He has won 6 Grammy Awards and is also a bit of a dish (Not all of my commentary, consists of physical scrutiny. Promise :teresa: )

Ah, James "Marmite" Blunt, a English singer-songwriter who seems to be the bane of critics yet popular among MOTR listeners, his songs from his massive-selling album "Back To Bedlam" are still radio staples, I don't really dislike his music, nor do I go mad for it either.

Favourite Song: Carry You Home (from All The Lost Souls)

The lowest ranking of the artists to recieve a top rating, yet it was only one of two votes. Young has shot to fame as the mastermind of Owl City, which have at the moment of writing, has the biggest selling of the year to date with Fireflies . Young has headed many projects before Owl City with limited success. Owl City has yet to replicate the success of Fireflies yet and is in my view deserving of it's ranking in this list. Sorry, Mattias

Favourite Song: Fireflies (from Ocean Eyes)

Brandon Flowers for the win :cheer: Can you tell me how well he did? :teresa: Pm me :P

None of these guys are that good IMHO

I am afraid you will have to wait like everyone else

This should be VERY interesting :o I can't believe non entities like Kid Cudi were even nominated though

Seriously HOW could you not know anything about him?! This guy is a genius.

One of the most heartwrenching pieces of music i've ever heard, and i don't feel as though its necessary to find out the translation for the lyrics. No human could've written the last 3 minutes of this. The video is amazing too, this and Vaka, also by Sigur Rós are easily my favourite 2 music videos of all time.

There is music, and then there is Sigur Rós.

I like what I heard when I heard it!

I need to get into Sigur Ros more. I love ( ) and various other bits that I've heard and I love the artwork and the videos.

I always liked You're Beautiful by Blunt. I can tolerate him in small doses but he really is a one trick pony that is FAR past its sell by date.

Another man mainly known for a big cross-Atlantic single, Powter has recorded three studio albums since 2000, but had little success until his self-titled second album's hit, Bad Day stormed. Little mainstream success has followed, even resulting in being voted as the biggest one-hit wonder of the 2000s by Billboard Magazine. His albums are quite good though, well worth a listen. Powter tied with Young for points, and ranked higher because of more votes.

Favourite Song: Bad Day (from Daniel Powter) Had to be, I didn't stop singing it for months.

Old Blue Eyes himself, and despite taking a massive tumble from the nominations stage, I'm still pleased to see him in the top 100! The first artist on our list that's no longer with us. Sinatra was the original male star, sharing the Brat Pack stage with Sammy Davis Jr. & Dean Martin, starring in blockbuster Hollywood movies, and involved with an array of beautiful women, Sinatra's recording career started in 1935 (the earliest on the list), and has recorded many a standard which are still being given attention via the almost inevitable "Big Band Week" on X Factor. "My Way" his signature song is one of the longest-charting single of all time, only recently conceding to Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars.

The first of three Take That boys to be nominated in the list (Sorry Jason & Howard), Mark Owen was the (supposedly) cute one in Take That, one of the biggest pop bands of the 1990s, when they split Owen pursued a rather unsuccessful solo career and had a jaunt in the Celebrity Big Brother, leaving him the winner of his series, then in 2005 the band reformed and gained a new legion of fans and becoming as popular as ever. Which explains his lack of appearance in tonight's BB Ultimate Champion!

Favourite Song: Everything Changes (from Everything Changes) as part of Take That

This is my second favourite Take That song, I'm using my favourite for Gary, and Robbie is one of his own singles!

Results so far;

92 Mark Owen

93 Frank Sinatra

94 Daniel Powter

95 Adam Young/Owl City

96 James Blunt

97 John Legend

98 Jonsi Birgisson

99 Mick Jagger

100 Kid Cudi

Will post more tomorrow!

92 Mark Owen - really like Mark, best singer in Take That imo

93 Frank Sinatra - boring

94 Daniel Powter - has one good song

95 Adam Young/Owl City - don't like them

96 James Blunt - I actually like him, his first album was brilliant

97 John Legend - one good song

98 Jonsi Birgisson - who?

99 Mick Jagger - doesnt bother me either way

100 Kid Cudi - doesn't do alot for me tbh, his Day n Night song was ok

No suprises so far really.

I really can't believe Mark Owen finished above John Legend, who should be much higher (don't think I voted him though, whoops) OR that the man with the biggest selling album of the last decade (and possibly this millennium?) in the UK is behind Daniel bloody Powter!

Still, it's not just my votes obviously :P

Apart from Daniel Powter, i don't really listen to any of them or own a song by them :(
