Yep it's absolutely brilliant!

I find the chorus a bit...annoying?

I don't know. I want to hear it in HQ before properly judging it though.

Amazing. Song of the year. Just brilliant. I didn't know Rihanna's voice was so powerful. Wow GO RIRI!
Amazing. Song of the year.

Song of the year, beating everything off the Katy Perry album (& Rude Boy), when the clip has only been available for a matter of hours?

I know right. It's that amazing. I have downloaded it. I'm on my 10th listen. :P I'm listening to the full version by the way.

On first listen...very disappointing.

Generic production and the shouty chorus is a bit grating.

I don't know what some of you are on...

It's alright but it certainly isn't song of the year. The production is REALLY generic (shockingly so) and the middle 8 might as well not exist. The verses are the best bit because the production on them sounds like it comes from a different (better) song.

I'm really surprised you all love it. It just sounds like a Guetta rip off.

A bit repetitive, and I think it's her vocals on the chorus that I'm not keen on, but it sounds like a grower and I think it is a major improvement on the "Rated R" era.

I love it but it certainly isn't song of the year and it is generic.

Although it isn't what I would have hoped for Rihanna's 5th album i still really like it.

It's no more generic than 'Don't Stop The Music', 'Take A Bow', 'Hate That I Love You' etc...
Just heard it on Radio 1 :w00t:

Sounds like Cascada circa 2006, and the chorus reminds me of Stereo Love.

Not a fan. The verses are dull, and the chorus is far too repetitive

But she moved away from the generic stuff during Rated R which was largely original sounding (Te Amo aside).

Also DSTM is not particularly generic and this isn't 2007 anymore. The bangy bangy bit in the chorus bit is like every Guetta song from the past 12 months!

Can't wait to listen to this when I get home from work!

In my opinion, the Rated R era really showed her artistic creativity etc. and judging from this song it looks like she's taken a step backwards.

I'd far rather another 'Russian Roulette'. Although I guess this'll achieve more chart success and sales probably.
