I completly forgot about them been on strictly as i dont watch it at all, the vocals were good on the song although some of the moves are cringeworthy!

ROBBIE WILLIAMS AND GARY BARLOW 'TOO GAY' FOR STRICTLY

The Star

Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow have come under attack for being “too gay’’ on Strictly Come Dancing. And 10million viewers saw the former feuding singers perform a “bromantic’’ duet on Saturday. The track called Shame marks the end of their long- running spats which started when Robbie walked out of Take That some 15 years ago

Dressed in matching black suits, Robbie, 36, and Gary, 39, kept gazing into one another’s eyes like lovers while sitting on stools. Then they got on their feet and did a few dance moves before hugging one another. One mum posted a message on the BBC Strictly forum: “I’m not certain how appropriate Robbie and Gary making googly eyes and singing a love song at each other may be. “A lot of young boys were switching on at 6.55pm to watch Merlin afterwards.”Another viewer added: “I almost expected tongues.”

There were also protests about former EastEnders star Kara Tointon, 27, and her kinky S&M style outfit.

After taking a tumble, she said: “It was the dominatrix look I was going for and then I fell over! How embarrassing.”

One viewer blasted: “My 80-year-old mum does not want someone telling her about being a dominatrix.

“She just wants some family entertainment.”

Btw here is the Itunes pop bar - with physicals (whcih are usually feck all but I think they will do quite well for Rob and Gary) added I think Shame is #2 but Cee Lo with both versions combined on downloads alone are easily #1.

it#s fantastic how the song performs on the charts.. #2 on itunes... so happy for the success after morning sun bombed..
number 2 on itunes is great and i would say they will manage around 10,000 phyisical sales aswell, i wonder how its doing on other download sites.

Midweeks are in and

1 Cee-Lo Green [40k]

2 Robbie Williams & Gary Barlow [27k]

With both verions added together of both songs on Itunes Cee-Lo is still way ahead. Actually after listening to Cee-Lo's song it deserves to beat the dreary Shame. It is very catchy and different and possibly a future classic. At least it is not like last year with a great song (imo) like Bodies being beaten by utter tosh like Bad Boys. It is still possible that Gobbie will get to #1, Paul O'Grady will have a big effect but I wouldnt put money on it.

Gary and Robbie are doing Live Lounge this Thursday too remember ... whether that will have any impact or not I'm not certain.

But ... Cee Lo deserves the number 1 ahead of Shame. In all honesty ... Shame should think itself lucky to be in the top five ... if it was any other artist ... it would never have seen the light of day!

Unless my eyes are deceiving me on my Itunes 'Fuck You' is about to overtake Shame to #1 - infact the whole top 5 is catching up so Shame is losing momentum. Looks as though it is game up. Such a Shame, real Shame. -_-

The GH better be #1 though - he Script did it with only 34K last week, and Tinie's sales will be a fraction of what they are by next week so it is likely with little obvious competition in the new releases. With so many having the first GH and 'Shame' aside none of the other 20 tracks featuring that were not on the first one are being sung anywhere as promotion. He should have done a one off TV special. It is still possible it will get to #1 though even with average sales. At this stage I am getting a bit sick of him being #2.

Btw Shame has flopped overall accross Europe - it is #92 this week on the Hot 100 - the UK #1 will bring it up but it isnt top 10 anywhere else apart from Ireland on Itunes. German promotion will help but it is disappointing.

The fact its number 1 shows its elling very well on downloads and the phyisicals will bump sales, im sure this at worst will be a top 2 hit.

Cee Lo's just gone to number 1 (iTunes)

Shame is really slipping now. It is way behind both #1 and #2 and is in danger of being overtaken by BOTH #4 and #5 despite being heard by millions of people on Live Lounge and Drivetime on Radio 1 and 2 today.
