I only put in five choices because with the upcoming Take That single coming soon after this, there's no way this song will underperform, especially with its "Brokeback Mountain" inspired video...

I say #1.

#1 most likely. Although everything about this is dire :manson:

It's been all over the TV channels/radio stations this morning. Usually a massively hyped song will get to no. 1 or at best stall at #2.

I've voted for #1 - they'll perform on The X Factor probably which will seal its fate.

Depending on what else is out ... and barring an internet campaign against it ... it'll get to number 1. It deserves however top 20 at best. The lyrics and the melody are weak as hell (although I do like the Toys 'R Us line).

I'm afraid to say that I love the video though ... very tongue-in-cheek!

CHEESE FEST! It will totally get to #1 as radio and TV airplay are really behind it Robbie and Gary will most defiantly get an X Factor slot.

number 1 easily, Im sure they will get an X Factor Slot and the radio will be all over it

its incredibly cheesy, maybe it will grow on me

#1 for sure, and its official they have an X Factor slot.

#1 on name only

Not good enough to be #1 though. It's like Robbie has lost his spark in the past few years, hence a return :kink:

That should seal their fate then. #1 here we come.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if this rockets to no. 1 in the UK airplay chart next week.

I'll go against the grain here then and say that I love this song! Commercial radio will eat it up, not only is it two of their favourite singers but it's also wonderfully MOR. It will join You Know Me and all of Take That's recent output in being hammered for the next year or two I reckon.

Oh, I quite like it too. 'You Know Me' was Robbie's best single in years imo. 'Shame' sounds very much like a continuation of 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz.

If this is out on the 4th, Robbie and Gary will perform it on X Factor on the 2nd/3rd October? Do we always get the live shows that early, I can't remember...I make that 12 or 13 weeks of live shows up until mid December, they don't usually have that many do they? :o

I thought Joe was performing on the first show, and they won't want anything denying him his #1 :o

And I didn't think they started that early, so maybe this is released before the live shows

I read that there were going to be 16 finalists - four per mentor. Whether that affects the number of live shows I'm not entirely sure.

They will probably do another Alex/Robbie episode in the first show.

I can say with sheer confidence I will hate this! I hate Take That (ok not the lads in question, but the music, old and new) and don't even get me started on $h!t-for-brains Williams, who is predictably back to Take That with his tail between his legs after his solo career is collapsing! What a tosser!

It was announced last week that Robbie and Gary will be performing, they could be performing on the second Live show, but don't forget there could be 2 live acts on the first show, as the Sunday Results show its usually on a for an hour.

And soon there will be X Factor on Sundays as well before the live shows. To cater for 4 acts per team
