Looks like there's a 'Piano Version' of Love The Way You Lie on iTunes as a bonus track on the deluxe version...without Eminem! Looking forward to hearing that!

Definately not her best work, songs like Cheers make the whole thing sound a bit rushed and half-assed. OG and WMN are pretty good though.

The album is AMAZING. The only thing stopping it from being perfect is 'Cheers'. :puke2: They should have had Who's That Chick as track 3 instead. <_<

Just got round to listening to this album. 'California King (Bed)' is quite possibly already one of my fave Rihanna songs ever. It's the sequel to 'Fire Bomb' and also has elements of 'Big Girls Don't Cry' by Fergie and Enrique's 'Hero'. AMAZING.

'cheers' is excellence and nothing less tbh. doing that would sooooo bring the album down.

I'm gunna wait for the rest of this album, just less than a week away until it's out anyway.

I've only listened to it about 3 times so far so it might be a grower, but atm i think its pretty awful. Its the only one on the album i don't like.

Cheers is lovely. Although I've had to make a radio edit to cut out that chant part.

The leaked album was the clean versions of the songs, so i hope the physical CD versions are the dirty ones.

The way they used the sample off one of my favourite songs ever. And generally everything is wrong about that song.

Rated R physical had the clean versions, so I'm guessing this will aswell. No idea why the US release has explicit versions and UK doesn't. :blink:

I really want the explicit version of the album, I had the clean version of Rated R since its the only one the UK released :(

I've just listened... 'Such a such a lady'. :( Its the version i have on my laptop thats explicit.

 

WHY do they do the clean versions in the UK? :( Its the same with The Fame Monster...

 

Could they not just put an 'Explicit' sticker on the front...

That was like when they bleeped out the word 'fuck' in 'Rockstar 101', really didn't work as well.

Why don't you guys just go easy and get an import :P Shipping costs on Amazon.com are far from obscene :P

Just having a quick listen now and its quite average :( Step down from Rated R tbh which remains my favourite Rihanna album but this era seemed so promising with early releases like Only Girl, Who's That Chick, What's My Name and Love The Way You Lie II but it seems to not really go much further than that. Although I do like Skin! More when I finish the rest of the album
