Absolutley brilliant album, So far 5 songs I rank 10/10 but the others look likely to grow to this too. The only one thats not doing alot for me is 'Raining Men' and 'Skin' isn't all that great (on first listen anyways) but either way this is without doubt in my top 3 albums this year, If not my #1 proper loving it and her atm. Think she is my fave artist of the last couple of years GGGB, RR and now Loud era are all epic!

Best album thus far of 2010 definately :)

10.0 What's My Name - easy favourite

09.0 Cheers (Drink To That) - I can't decide if I preferred the leak with the instrumental in the middle or not...

09.0 Fading - such a cutesy song! I think it'd be an amazing fourth single.

09.0 Only Girl (In The World)

08.5 California King (Bed) - puts me in mind of Fire Bomb. Always a good thing!

08.0 Man Down - the roll in her accent when she sings rum-pa-pa-pum is amazing.

07.5 Raining Men - I hate that it's already growing on me! Still reminds me of Sell Me Candy though.

09.5 Complicated - the best album track.

08.5 Skin - living for the mood and the production but the chorus is a little lacking currently.

09.0 Love The Way You Lie pt II - would be practically perfect without Eminem.

 

Strong album. I don't know yet if I prefer it to Rated R or GGGB - all have their share of filler. I do like how it doesn't abandon the sound of Rated R completely though.

 

The singles should be Cheers for third and Fading for fourth.

Album is boring. Eh.

I love the album. It's much better than Rated R for me. There isn't a song I hate on Loud.

OK. I definitely appreciate how Rihanna likes to experiment, but this has gone a bit in a wrong direction.

 

10.0 Complicated // Lyrics-wise really close to what i am feeling.

09.0 Only Girl (In The World) // Finally grew on me.

08.5 Raining Men // NICKI bitch makes any song a masterpiece <3

08.0 Fading // The intro is incredible <3 I even forgot it was a Rihanna's album lol.

05.0 What's My Name // DRAKE <3 Still very average though.

06.0 Love The Way You Lie pt. II // MEH TO THE MAX. Overrated as hell, both parts.

05.0 California King Bed // Boring.

05.0 S&M // Rude Boy was in the last album, repeating yourself Ms. RiRi.

04.0 Skin // Forgettable.

03.0 Cheers (Drink To That) // Awful. Don't like the Avril sample, really not suiting the song.

02.0 Man Down // Awful. The worst Rihanna song by quite far. She sounds so fake and try-hard there too.

 

Rated R was slightly better.

Everything about the album is so good except "Skin".

Listening through for the first time! Bizarre choice of sample on Cheers. Avril's I'm With You? I guess it does work though in a bizarre way.

 

What's My Name is obviously amazing, my favourite Rihanna song since Disturbia!

08.0 S&M | I expected the whole album to be pretty much like this. I actually think it'd make a great 3rd single, so I hope it is!

10.0 What's My Name | Love this so much. 2nd favourite on the album.

06.0 Cheers (Drink To That) | I just don't 'get' this.

08.0 Fading | Absolutely adore the intro and really like the song if slightly forgettable.

07.0 Only Girl (In The World)

08.0 California King (Bed) | I can see this majorly growing on me.

07.5 Man Down | I can see this becoming slightly annoying and repetitive but I'm liking it at the moment.

09.0 Raining Men | RIHANNA! NIICKI! AMAZING!

08.0 Complicated

10.0 Skin | Favourite on the album. Similar to Rated R in style and just generally amazing.

09.0 Love The Way You Lie pt II | Even prefer this to the original. So much emotion.
