I kind of like it. It's different and interesting and certainly better than the trashy 'Fight For This Love', but it's very WEIRD. Not sure right now.

well i certainly like it, it's very weird though. Doubt it will sell as much as FFTL.

I like this more than FFTL, but I agree that this is weird. Allouette is a skylark, and she sing this word 65(!) times.

Just listened to it for the first time, and I love it already. Incredible catchy.

It's definitely better than FFTL for the simple reason that it's more original. I think I'll like it. And yes, I thought it would be worse.

 

I prefer Nadine's song by a huge margin though.

What a bizarre song!

 

I like it but it does sound rather like several songs stitched into one (fiery uptempo verses, smoother midtempo chorus, alouetta samples, classical-lite piano outro). I'm not sure that's a bad thing though, it certainly makes for an interesting listen. It's a good vocal too surprisingly.

 

On the negative side - THE VERSES ARE JUST 'RAIN ON ME' BUT LESS FANTASTIC. This is going to bug me, I can tell. Also it doesn't really smack of 'lead single' to me. It's hardly the new Fight For This Love. Of course it'll be huge but it seems like more of a second single.

I absolutely love this! I agree with people that it is weird, but in a great way. At the moment I prefer 'Fight For This Love', but things can change. :wub:

So i'm the only one finding it a bit awful and 'The Club Is Alive' part II? :drama:

 

LOVE the choruses though and the "Alouetto" thing is alright, but incredibly annoying. I don't know. I want to like it and I think I should like it, but i'm just not feeling it right now.

It basically sounds like some baddly re-mixed reject from 3 Words. It's trying to do too many things at the same time, which results in it's ultimate failure. The 'alouettas' are just beyond weird aswell.

If a version of this every surfaces which doesnt have the alouettas that I can see myself liking it.

Does anyone think if cheryl hadnt had malaria this wouldnt have been the lead single since this influenced her decision maybe theres another major single on the album :)

No. This song has absolutely NOTHING to do with malaria. SHOCKINGLY.

I tuned in for the premier this morning on the way to school, but missed the start! :lol: Anyway, I've now heard the full thing and it's great! :o The 'aloutte' things may be annoying, but it's catchy! :D I love it loads and definitelym prefer it to 'Insatiable' (but both are great anyway)! :D
