01 - Blue Waffle - LOVE that it's played by Janet Jackson!

02 - Quest - I can see it happening / love Janine's burning of the letter.

03 - Silk Bullets - I still like this, but not as much as I've never seen an episode in my life.

all are really good, a vast improvement on the song writing task.

1. Waffle

2. Silk

3. Quest

need to re-read again later - so might change my mind by cut off time :D

BLUE WAFFLE I love Janet Jackson, and I love a good 'down fall'

SILK BULLETS

TOXIC CHAMPERS Not enough background story! Still good though!

1. Blue Waffle- really good and entertaining and quite funny

2. Quest For Eternal Protection- tense and good storyline

3. Silk Bullet- not as good as the other two, but very good nonetheless

very good entries :D

1st: Silk Bullet - Like the CSI thing and the breakdown of the episodes, makes it clearer to the reader.

2nd: Quest For Eternal Perfection - Like the effort they put graphically, making it stand out and a good read too.

3rd: Toxic Champagne - good storyline, would've been better if there was a picture to show :P

1. Blue Waffle - Very entertaining, and sounds like it could work very well on the show, apart from maybe the muffin thing  (Bree has baked Epiphany a fresh batch of stale muffins, one of which finds itself implanted in Karen McClusky's skull?)

2. Silk Bullets - Interesting. I like the episode breakdown.

3. Toxic Champage - This didn't hold my attention as much, but it probably would work.

Best: Quest For Eternal Perfection - great character, nice back story and interaction with others, realistic to the soap

2nd: Blue Waffle - Janet Jackson would be an inspired choice for DH, and this sounds like an intriguing character

3rd: Toxic Champage - Good idea, a bit different from the norm, but my least favourite of the three

Sorry, I've only popped on quickly. All very good and inventive.

1. Toxic

2. Quest

3. Waffle

Quest - Seems like a good plot

Silk Bullet - She's hot and it's not the immediate choice of programme

Blue Waffle - Sorta bored me if I'm being honest. Not too bad though. Plus I don't watch Deperate Housewives

01 Blue Waffle - Seriously had me in stitches at some points, loved the descriptions taking the p*** out of DH too 'Susan again realised she had been witnessing homicide' LOL! <3 Oh and the character is fantastic too, if a bit unrealistic.

02 Toxic Champagne - Obviously well thought out but I don't watch the show so it didn't really mean much to me :(.

03 Silk Bullet - Good but the other two were just better imo.

1st: Quest: A really great effort, and a realistic storyline, liked the promo artwork too

2nd: Blue Waffle: Amusing and a good effort

3rd: Toxic Champagne: It was very good all round, but lacked an element of quirkiness imo.

Maybe be slightly biased by the soaps they used, but I genuinely think that was the best order. Waffle's was funny/good, Quest was really good too, so was Silk's. (just the least so) Impressed with the quality.

I found this hugely difficult to rank. Like Steve said, I think the standard is a LOT higher than last time. The three teams' entries are all almost on an exact par for me, they excel in different areas. But here goes;

01. Toxic Champagne

Being honest, the other two entries are a lot more thorough and polished off. This one pipped it for me nevertheless, mainly for the plotline, which was easily my favourite of the 3. The idea of a former warlord in Holby City is pretty dark, and I like that it's erring on the political aswell. It's something that I could easily imagine Holby City attempting, making an utter politically incorrect HASH OF IT, resulting in one joyous TV car crash. I also liked that you went against the grain and championed [shock horror] a MALE character, which is essentially suicide for BJ :o

Only downside is that even I, as only a semi-occasional watcher of Holby City, know that no man would stand a chance against the pure EVIL that is Jac, even a military torturer. I think you may have found this task easier if you'd gone for a drama that some of you watched.

02. Silk Bullet

Choosing between you and Quest was incredibly tough. Having not ever heard of Gilmore Girls, I can't say I can comment on whether your entry was derivative, and can only rate on the assumption that is an original idea. I think the plotline you scratched out was pretty hard-hitting, and those last few episodes in your plan sound EPIC. Only reservation would be that would an audience really care that much about a character who seems to get minimal airtime and "minor" character development through the series?

What decided it for me between you and Quest in the end, was that I liked that you actually sat down and carved out an actual series plan with episode summaries.

03. Quest For Eternal Perfection

I feel bad giving this no points, because no doubt it IS good, and I LOVE the little artwork you created. I just felt that the character was the least "stand-out" to me, she sounded like a bit of an annoying wimp truth be told, who I'd probably want to punch a la Danielle. And the idea that a restaurant would tip someone over into faking their own death was a bit of a stretch (although I appreciate the irony in my saying that what with the Blue Waffle midget porn star with a drug addiction and a fluffer).

I DO think whoever wrote this (I'm assuming Jark?) had a damn good understanding of EE though, because the actions of the established characters in that little plotline (Roxy and Janine) were completely believable. If I was marking on you THEM and not Olivia, you'd win easy.

Aside from underestimating just how much effort everyone else would put in, this was definitely our main issue. I'm afraid that none of the writers watch any soaps at all so we were having to make it up as we went along.

Anyway... I must vote too. I've read them and it's actually really difficult to separate the three teams from eachother, the effort in all 3 deserves points.

Don't worry, even the third placed entries get points this time. :D

She definitely isn't a wimp although I think perhaps with all of the detail regarding the plot we forgot to emphasise her personality traits. She's actually very confident but also at the same time somewhat clueless - she'll say what she thinks she and if people take offence there's a good chance she won't even notice - she's incredibly intelligent but almost unaware of her lack of social skills.

And yes most people have commented on the restaurant thing LOL. The point was kind of that Roxy's betrayal tipped her over the edge again but I see what you're saying.

And I may have contributed! WHO KNOWS? (Actually you because you can see our forum but sssh.)

1. Quest

2. Silk

3. Toxic

It was close for me between Quest and Silk, In the end the lay out of Quest made me decide to top them.
