The Saturdays have recorded a track with Flo Rida.

The group, who were recently denied the number one spot on the singles chart by the rapper's 'Club Can't Handle Me', thanked him for featuring on the song via a letter.

It read: "We are sorry we couldn't be around today - we are gutted to have missed you!

"We want to thank you so much for doing the track with us. We are so excited that you are a part of it! Have an amazing time shooting the video and we hope to meet you really soon."

Flo Rida responded by tweeting: "Thank you for the letter and the opportunity to collab with you! the song is a smash."

Band member Rochelle Wiseman recently joked that they should collaborate with Flo Rida to get a number one single after being beaten by him on two ocasions.

 So is this a new song? I'm wondering if it's a remix of 'Higher', like the remix of 'Missing You' which Professor Green featured on?

Please don't mention the Professor Green remix :puke:

I'd rather this was a new song. Higher is good enough on it's own, it doesn't need a Flo Rida feature.

Hopefully not on Flo Rida's album as he only ever gets ONE hit per album! LOL

This is excellent guys!!

i think this means two versions will chart if it is higher? They will promote there version of higher everywhere with everyone downloading that and will buy the flo-rida version aswell! Quite happy with this tbh.

Yep. Let's hope they don't screw it up like Alexandra's label did for 'All Night Long'. I still think she could have got a number 1 (only just though) had they kept both versions available.
