Her name ? Sorry, but I don't see the song selling on her name alone at all.

She is member of Girls Aloud, that doesn't mean people are going to rush to buy her single. And she's the one who has got the bad press during the last year (Nadine turning American, Nadine not talking to the girls, Nadine-so-thin-she-could-die, etc.), so I don't think the general audience is that keen on her actually.

 

But ultimately the song is very good so it should still be a hit ! :dance:

Girls Aloud with an X Factor performance sold 77k in first week, last year Leona with an X - Factor performance sold 85 k(she missed no.1!!!!). I am not living in UK but based on what I read in British newspapers, I do not think Nadine is more popular than Leona or GA. So we should be wondering if she has a chance to be number one after her performance on X-Factor, without that she hasn't any chance.

Yeah I have a feeling radio may be against Nahy-dean and she is looking at a #16 smash, even though i love the song!

from what I could tell watching that interview, she doesn't seem like a very confident speaker or anything, she sort of displayed the behaviour someone would if they're nervous or uncomfortable.

Yeah. It could be that she's overcompensating because she's actually quite shy and doesn't like talking about herself. OR it could be that she's just bad at avoiding questions well and generally a bit up herself. (though I always thought she was lovely.)

She wouldn't say she was close to her album anyway as it would ruin her as the bad one who left GA. We just need to get through these 2 solo albums this Xmas and see what happens at the other side now. Doesn't look too great for next year though. 2012 - 10th anniversary perhaps?
