September 1, 201014 yr Author I hope these memoirs serve as the final nail in David Miliband's coffin... hopefully people see that they can't re-elect Blair incarnate. Miliband, FFS... Just another boy in a suit really, he really is just Blair's little clone.... Cant stand the bloke personally... If Labour wants to get back to basics, they need to elect Diane Abbott tbh... REAL Labour needs to come back...
September 2, 201014 yr Aside from everything else about him ... I can't get over how much of a bloody whinger he is! I detest the man but I'm not going to waste anymore typing on him. The turd! Kath
September 2, 201014 yr I'm a huge Tony Blair fan and think he did absolutely right in supporting Bush. I'll read his book but can't afford to buy it so have put my name on the waiting list to borrow it from the library when they get it in next month. Should be a great read. The man's a living legend and should be made a Saint. Edited September 2, 201014 yr by Common Sense

September 2, 201014 yr Author A Saint for what? I'd say more an Angel personally... Angel of Death.... So, Chris supports the Pope AND B-Liar.... Really goes to your moral character Chris - speaking up for one c'unt who covered up for Paedophile Priests and is a homophobic scumbag, and another c'unt who's a warmonger and a murderer..... I guess you'd vote for Hitler, Stalin or Pol Pott for Sainthood as well then..... Pillock.....

The man's a living legend and should be made a Saint. You have to be dead to be made a saint. And what would be the nature of the miracle he performed?
September 2, 201014 yr You have to be dead to be made a saint. And what would be the nature of the miracle he performed? Well maybe not a Saint then. Blair and Bush did the world a great service though by ridding it of evil dictator Saddam. Oh and Scott and others conveniently forget when calling Tony names that the Tories would have voted for the war too!!

Oh and Scott and others conveniently forget when calling Tony names that the Tories would have voted for the war too!! I would not have shed any tears if the CIA had assassinated Hussein or something BUT deposing Hussein and America stealing Iraq's oil came at the cost of tens of thousands of Iraqi civillian lives at the hands of our missiles and Iraq is far more dangerous and unstable now than it was under Hussein, you have gone completely cuckoo if you think Iraq is better now Hussein has gone. Not to mention 7/7 and 21/7 were as a direct result of the invasion

September 3, 201014 yr Author Well maybe not a Saint then. Blair and Bush did the world a great service though by ridding it of evil dictator Saddam. Oh and Scott and others conveniently forget when calling Tony names that the Tories would have voted for the war too!! No, I dont convienently forget I just dont give a flying fukk about the Tories, they were in opposition at the time, they didn't make the decision to go to war, they weren't the GOVERNMENT at the time, it wasn't ultimately their call to make, it was B-Liar and Co's... Yeah, "evil Saddam" eh? And what about "evil" Kim Jong Il sinking South Korean ships, illegally testing nukes and just generally sabre-rattling to cause instability in South East Asia..? What the fukk gets done about him eh...? A big, fat, ZERO... Because he actually DOES have WMDs and the Americans and Brits are absolutely sh"tting themselves thinking about what he might do... Oh, and the fact that North Korea doesn't actually have any oil.... Unlike Saddam, Kim Jong Il is actually bloody scary and actually is capable of a pre-emptive nuclear strike....

Not to mention 7/7 and 21/7 were as a direct result of the invasion I'm almost ashamed of myself for admitting you're spot on here..... :o Another interesting little bit of info here, originally the iraqi invasion was called Operation Iraqi Liberation..... Until of course it was pointed it out that that could be shortened to O.I.L.  Freudian slip there or what....?
September 3, 201014 yr B-Liar is coming over to Dublin today to appear on the Late Late Show tonight and will be signing copies of his book in the city centre tomorrow morning. There is outrage here as according to reports it is going to cost the tax payer at the very least €10,000 for extra police, several helicopters that his team asked for despite him having over half a dozen armed guards with him anyway (no doubt payed for by the UK Taxpayer - I read it costs them over £7 a year for his protection). People who want to go go into Easons in the morning will have to go through a security check and leave their items there beore going in - as well as that a section of O'Connoll St will be closed meaning the stall holders will have to close without getting any compensation. There is expected to be huge protests outside with groups planning a citizens arrest (Scott you should go along :P ) It really is outrageous that he gets all this free publicity at the tax payers expense to flog his lies further. And it's funny how he picked interviews with two people who are hardly going to truly tackle him on Iraq - Andrew Marr and Ryan Tuburty (LLS host). Why not someone like Jeremy Paxman? I noticed during the Marr interview how quick Blair was to say Iran should be next to take Military action against. As Donald Trump said on Dave Letterman the other night all the invasion has done is ensure that due to them taking away the balance from Iraq, that once the troops fully leave some Anti-American country, most likely Iran will take over Iraq and it will become far worse and more dangerous than it was under Saddam. Edited September 3, 201014 yr by De Niro
September 3, 201014 yr He being here has also affected city centre buses and trams, so I'm pissed-off already. Makes my saturday more difficult. :P It wouldn't surprise me if there was some form of rioting (like we saw in 2006 with the Love Ulster marches). A citizens arrest would make my day.
September 3, 201014 yr He just finished his interview on the LLS. The host, Ryan Tubridy is a poor interviewer with a reputation is acting quite childish and repeating the same question over and over - he did the same here - spent ages asking really easy questions and then tried to trip Blair up. Blair is too much of a political heavyweight and intellect to be tripped up by an entertainment show host. It was an embarrassing interview and even though it was perhaps a tougher interview than the BBC Marr one, Blair actually came out looking better due to Tubridy's lack of interviewing skills. He has a long history of have embarrassing interviews (most notably with Richard Dawkins last year). I did find it interesting that Blair wasnt aware that his children have Irish passports though.

I can't remember who did the show when I was in Dublin but it would have been whoever succeeded Gay Byrne.
September 4, 201014 yr He must be a fairly new LLS host. I can't remember who did the show when I was in Dublin but it would have been whoever succeeded Gay Byrne. He only started last year. Before him was Pat Kenny for 10 years. Gay Byrne retired in 1999. Edited September 4, 201014 yr by Common Sense
September 4, 201014 yr Shoes and Eggs were reportedly thrown in Blair's direction this morning - nothing hit him though. Story in full here http://www.rte.ie/news/2010/0904/blairt.html Also for anyone interested you can watch the full LLS interview here http://www.rte.ie/player/#v=1079720 Pretty sure it works outside Ireland. Beware though Jedward come on after Blair and state that the interview was "serious with a capital S" Edited September 4, 201014 yr by De Niro
September 4, 201014 yr Absolutely disgraceful behaviour towards Blair in Dublin today. That's all the thanks he gets for his part in the peace deal. Those verbally abusing him and throwing things are low-life who aren't fit to lick the great man's boots. Edited September 4, 201014 yr by Common Sense

Let's not forget that Major had done a lot for the peace deal as well - and are the people in Dublin REALLY going to thank him for a deal which didn't see Northern Ireland reincorporated? Get serious, Chris.
