Anime fans (specifically on YouTube) are unhappy with the new 15-second commercial of the third season of One Punch Man. They mostly pointed out all the cuts that only showed moving lips. I do feel sorry for the fans though as Madhouse decided to drop this anime last season, while Frieren is cooking in just 2,5 years.....

Here is a new sequel trailer of one of the most degenerate ecchi series of this century, and they are ready to compete with Frieren on January: Chained Soldier! cheeseblock

Tbf, I can be nitpicky when selecting ecchi content. There is one that is getting positive reception this season, called Nukitashi: The Animation, and I chose not to watch it (for now).

Loving Gigguk's personal journey interpreted into an Isekai-themed short movie:

Also, just finished 18 of 40 anime I decided to watch this season.

Silent Witch (not Bocchi the Rock 2.0) my biggest surprise, while I don't really get the hype of The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity anime (the up-and-coming voice actors for both MCs delivered it though!).

Massive goosebumps.

New Umamusume: Cinderella Gray trailer featuring more cuts from Moon Madness, Bonecrushers, Tony Bin, My Big Boy, and Pay the Butler! cheeseblock

10-FEET (The First Slam Dunk) provided the opening theme.

We are in an era where an isekai anime is about a nail artist... bratcheeseblock HYPE!

I genuinely wonder when I will get tired of this subgenre of fantasy, or when isekai will run out of ideas. lol

Judging from the score on MAL, apparently studio Madhouse fell off once again after being the GOAT for adapting Frieren, Orb, and Trillion Game (by the Dr. Stone author; haven't watched though). Wandance certainly struggles with 3D-CGI; a hardcore Overlord content creator was disappointed with its new spin-off movie; and I wasn't sure what happened to Dinner Table Detective (didn't watch this, too). sad

Hopefully it won't affect their next three anime, which are all promising: Frieren S2, Liar Game, and One Hundred Views of Awajima

The situation with OPM keeps getting even worse — JC Staff's Shinpei Nagai, the director airing for S3, has deleted his X (Twitter) account after facing backlash from both Japanese and overseas fans. sad

To be fair, the criticism should've been directed more toward Bandai, the licensor for not investing seriously in the franchise.

While I disagree with the idea where "Anime X doesn't deserve better production than Anime Y," it actually is disappointing that Bandai (through the sub-division Sunrise) manages to give a random, obscure isekai title (My Status as an Asssassin...) far better production quality. o

After 7 years, Kyoto Animation finally reveals the first teaser of their upcoming drama anime Sparks of Tomorrow (Nijusseiki Denki Mokuroku: Eureka Evrika or 20th Century Electricity Catalog);
