What i don't understand is why release a deluxe version (Start without you lead single) and release a song which was on the original as the 2nd single from the re-release. it makes no sense what so ever. One of the new songs, should have been the 2nd single from re-release

ala RiRi "Rehab"

Alexandra's past 2 singles stalled within the top 5 then started dropping. I don't think she's a contender. It's Katy's to lose this week especially with the last Alan Carr show this season.

Her last two singles were already available to buy from the album on iTunes - therefore unable to get a higher peak. SWY has an anticipated week for purchase. No one could buy it before today. It's obviously going to peak higher than ANL/BH.

Start Without You will break through the Top 3 wall ha ha by this evening. It is very funny that some people were clearly hoping and praying this song would sink without a trace. It is still in the running for No 1 and hopefully Alex's team will tack on more promo.

Party Girl is listed as at 7 now on mine, with Alex at 3.

Yes, which means Alex will be #1 in no time. Script still at #11, Alesha still at #13, Linkin Park still at #66.

I actually surprisingly really quite like this... very laid back.

I get the feeling that you're in the wrong thread.

Are you listening to the chart?

I'm glad to see Alesha creep closer to the top 10, get in there girl!

I noticed her album is released November 22nd, I guess they're pushing another single out before the release of it?

Yes, there will be another pre-album single and I'm very confident that it will be fantastic.

They performed on Big Brothers Little Brother today and the Lottery big night yesterday. Should help them out a little bit. I don't think it will hold up well all week though. The most interesting thing will be next week.

Alex for number 1!!!

Don't McFly have a reputation for a top ten debut followed by a quick plummet out of the top 40 five weeks later?

This release is very different: firstly it appeals for non-fanbase buying public; secondly, their last singles barely did anything in iTunes.

That's why I said next week will be interesting. I think they will definitely drop, but not as much as usual is a possibility this time.

Yeah they do (and more often it's usually #1 followed by an out of top 10 position) but though I don't think McFly will get a #1 next week, I don't think it will fall so quickly either. This is probably their first song that has shown some strength in the itunes chart. They're a weird band because with all their #1s, they look like one of the biggest bands in the UK, but their sales and chart lengths prove otherwise.

Party Girl, though for me, is probably one of their better songs so I'm happy to see it do well. I hope their new album is more grown up. I hated all the kiddie lyrics in their songs while pretending to be a rock band. I just felt it didn't work. But thats my opinion anyway

Anyway Same Difference will get dropped, there single will not be in the top 100! Ouch!
