Ok, how on earth this can be only et number 19? That's unforgivable! First single from hers selftitled album 'Britney'. This song was Britney's crossing from a scool girl to sexy/sweat girl. The video is one of the sexiest videos ever. For me the sexiest ever. In the charts this was really huge hit in the world. Only in America didn't reached top 10, but it's peaked et number 27 which is good. I adore this song and again I can't believe that is that low. Lucky is higher??? :mellow:

I've always had a soft spot for Me Against The Music, it probably wasn't the collaberation of the decade as perhaps was somewhat expected and it failed to give both Britney and Madonna that massive #1 they both kind of needed at the time but I love it either way, the bizzarely brilliant video is probably what does it for me.

 

Slave 4 You I've never gotten the fuss over, all the hype for it seems to be centered around the fact she's sexed up her image somewhat for the video.

Nah, it's ok song, but definitely my least fave single of her. Simply it can't do nothing for me. The video is nice really, but.... nah..

'Slave 4 U' deserves to be higher indeed. It'd still sell now and yeah back in the day the video WAS it's selling point. Definitely the sexiest she's probably ever looked in a video and the dancing was f***ing immense too. 'Lucky' I have a love/hate relationship with. Sometimes I think it's brilliant and "cut" in a cheesy/nostalgia way, but it's not dated very well, at all and I can't bring myself to listen to it without cringing. :lol:

Lead single from Britney's first compilation album Greatest Hits: My Prerogative. This song is originally writen by Bobby Brown and it was second single from his second solo album Don't Be Cruel. Britney's version is one of the best covers EVER imo. Her version is producet by Bloodshy & Avant, the hitmakers of the Toxic. I really like this song beacuse of the lyrics, it's really like written for her and hers personal life. In the charts this was great chart performer. It's topped four countries and peaked in top 10 in 14 countries. The song failed to chart in USA Hot 100. In the video Britney looks damn hot. Especially in the scenes where she is on bed.

I've never quite been able to make mind up about My Prerogative, on the one hand it is one mighty fine cover and really is probably her best to date. However, certain aspects of it didn't really work for me.

 

Lucky is just cheesy beyond belief, and I really, really dont want to admit to this but I have a major soft spot for it.

My Prerogative is by far my favorite cover. I think it's better then the original honestly. And this is the only cover I think she did where she outshined the original. Satisfaction, was good... doesn't even TOUCH the original. Same with I Love Rock N' Roll and The Beat Goes On.
