'If U Seek Amy' along with 'Radar' is her worst post breakdown single. A bit too gimmicky I feel, although it's still decent. 'Oops' is a bit too novelty as well and hasn't aged well at all, one of the few of her older singles that I dislike.

Third single from 'Oops!...! album. Well, for me this is one very strong pop song, it's not my fave, but it's still damn good! Video for the song it's even better than the song. In The charts this song was great chart perfomer. It didn't topped any chart, but it was strong top 10/20 peaker. Highest peak is in Austria and Germany where it's peaked et number 4. The new cover of the song Glee cover it's really bad, don't like that male version.

WOW 22 top 10's for the third single from debut album. I'm really suprised how good this song go well here and in the charts overall. This was HUGE hit everywhere, with only one number 1 (in Belgium) this song was really great chart performer. It's peaked in almost in every country in top3/5. Lowest peak is in two countries in Canada and Australia #13. Even in USa has peaked in top 10 @ number 10. :D This is really great pop/dance song, one of the betters from early eras. In the video she had one guest, the famous actor Melissa Joan Hart, most known as Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. Video is really fantastic, my favourite part is when Britney wearing the glasses and acting as a waitress. Really cute scene!

'Stronger' is very, very close to overtaking 'Everytime' to become not only my favourite Britney song, but my 2nd favourite song of ALL-TIME! (Behind 'Mr Brightside' by The Killers :P). It's just fantastically produced and forget 'Toxic' being the idea for the 'Womanizer' video, we all know it started with the fantastic 'Stronger' video. (Probably her greatest video - the chair choreography in particular!)

 

I'm really gonna check flickr now for a nice 'Stronger' siggy, but whilst I search I'm nicking the one you have there :kink:

 

'(You Drive Me) Crazy' is also another one of her gems which still sounds, surprisingly alright now. Hasn't aged badly at all for me.

Born To Make You Happy being a #1 is still quite baffling really, was there no completition around at the time or something because it's such a forgettable bland affair. Circus too is nothing special at very much so should not be this high, If U Seek Amy and Break The Ice are better but again not one of her best.

 

Very suprised to see Crazy that high up, I've never really regarded it as anyone's favourite but it's decent. Stronger is most certainly one of her best though.

Well BTMYH was released around Jan/Feb time in the UK, and I believe single sales are notoriously low at that stage of the year (probably to do with Christmas), so it was a mixture of good timing, and the fact that she promoted the ass off this song in the UK with several appearances on TV shows.

Glad (You Drive Me) Crazy is so high, my fave song from the first album! shoulda been a #1
