September 3, 201014 yr If you don't mind me asking, why do you always round the figure even when the exact figure is known? (every sales figure for the top 5s in every week of 2010 are available as exact figures)

September 4, 201014 yr I think the difference between 89000 and 89004 isn't really significant. Its just faffing about to bother with anything else. Just be glad we have the figures! Thanks vc :)
September 4, 201014 yr To be fair though, I don't think we really need them more accurate than the nearest ten anyway. I'm surprised by the figure for 1,000 though! I thought it would've been more like 35, than 350! And thanks for the stats! Edited September 4, 201014 yr by Eric_Blob
September 4, 201014 yr Author To be fair though, I don't think we really need them more accurate than the nearest ten anyway. I'm surprised by the figure for 1,000 though! I thought it would've been more like 35, than 350! It is based on observing how ex-charting songs, now low in the iTunes T1000, switch positions on the YTD lists. Some of the movements just don't work unless songs that low are still selling hundreds a week!
September 4, 201014 yr I agree with spicefunk, is it really that important? These figures are fine, thanks vc, interesting.
