Just heard Champagne Lemonade. It's very catchy and I'm sure it'll be a hit! I was listening to Hurts album the other day and thought that the female voice in Devotion sounded a lot like Kylie. Now I know! Great chart as always! Thanks West! I literally love everything Shakira does :lol: She's one of my three favourite artists ever. I don't mind different styles, but on X, every song is a different style, and in no apparent order either :lol: It had potential but could do with being re-ordered as well as a few weak songs being thrown off in favour of the two Wow b-sides. 46. It sounds a hell of a lot better in HQ actually, I only had a rough demo version before I think. It's definitely a grower. 07 - Hmm, I can't remember the Wow b-sides, shall have to give them another listen. There were one or two tracks on X that could have done without being on there, I agree.

The former in particular was classic disco Kylie, in the vein of Get Outta My Way, and indeed Wow. A very relevant b-side to that release and would have fit well on the album.

Whether this will be yet another #1 for her on my chart, I can't see it, but then I didn't like Waka Waka that much when I first heard it and that later went to #1 for me! Devotion's very good. What do you think of the rest of the album? It definitely needs to grow on me I think although it has potential. The album is quite solid, in my opinion. Besides the amazing singles Wonderful Life and Better Than Love, other great songs are Illuminated, Silver Lining, Sunday and Stay. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. It's definitely a nice throw back to 80's synth-pop like Depeche Mode and Tears For Fears. I can see it being making it's way into my top 10 albums of 2010.

Great choices there, your 2-5, as well as Red Blooded Woman would make up the bottom half of my top ten Kylie songs :wub: It's a toss up between Fever and Aphrodite for my favourite Kylie album. The album is quite solid, in my opinion. Besides the amazing singles Wonderful Life and Better Than Love, other great songs are Illuminated, Silver Lining, Sunday and Stay. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. It's definitely a nice throw back to 80's synth-pop like Depeche Mode and Tears For Fears. I can see it being making it's way into my top 10 albums of 2010. Agreed there, it's definitely a grower. Stay, Silver Lining and Sunday in particular have grown hugely on me.
