September 3, 201014 yr One of my favourite bands from the 80s, they were known as The Dead Daughters and The Future before adopting the name Human League, also a bit of chart trivia, Human League was derived from the game Starforce: Alpha Centauri, a science fiction wargame. I know quite a bit about them :D Sound Of The Crowd is my favourite track of theirs, along with Open Your Heart and the #1 single Don't You Want Me. The Dare era I really loved. Got every album of theirs
September 3, 201014 yr I love them too. Really hope they return to the sound they had around the Travelogue era, Marianne and Crow And A Baby are immense!
September 4, 201014 yr Like a bit of HL, Sound Of The Crowd is my fave of theirs too. Edited September 4, 201014 yr by ScottyEm
September 24, 201014 yr They are also my fave British band of the 80s I have all their albums from Reputation apart from their Compilations and Remixes. Also the Holiday 80 EP. My fave tracks are Sound Of The Crowd and Things That Dreams Are Made Of. I also have all their singles including both the originals of Being Boiled and Empire State Human on the FAST label. I even have a copy of I Don't Depend On You which they recorded as THE MEN.
September 27, 201014 yr I must be the only one who loved Octopus, but it's actually one of my favorite albums of the 90s. Excited for new material!
November 9, 201014 yr Absolutely love this band  The single is out on November 22 (pretty much the worst choice possible, but anyway...) and the album Credo is out in March: http://www.bangonpr.com/pr_detail.php?from=detail&id=997 Here's a full length live performance of the track: 2NW5Xm2TN9Y Kind of Sound Of The Crowd 2010, but I really like the last section...
November 21, 201014 yr Stunning return to form, love the new track. Really hope it goes at least Top 40 for them.
November 23, 201014 yr Night People is the best track they've released for years and years Official video bcii6HcBWKA
November 24, 201014 yr Author The remixes are on YouTube, too - check the Emperor Machine remix - PHENOMENAL!!!! And the Cerrone mix is pretty special, too.
November 24, 201014 yr Yep, the Emperor Machine mix is awesome, sounds like Giorgio Moroder :) I like the video, but first Pet Shop Boys, now this - why aren't 80s singers appearing in their own videos anymore?
November 24, 201014 yr Author I like the video, but first Pet Shop Boys, now this - why aren't 80s singers appearing in their own videos anymore? a vanity thing, I reckon.... PSB and HL are both in their 50s now. PSB usually make incredible videos, though, bar London and Home and Dry, of course :(
November 25, 201014 yr PSB's videos have been quite disappointing since I'm With Stupid imo. Shame Night People is flopping so hard. Oh well...Quality really doesn't matter on charts, never has.
November 26, 201014 yr Author Is it flopping? I notice the promos are going for crazy prices on eBay....
November 26, 201014 yr Nowhere to be seen on midweeks and the release date was Monday as far as I know.
