Thank you for taking part. Below are the 29 songs which people have entered into BuzzJack's second Unknown Pleasures contest.

 

You will now vote for your favourite 10 songs using the following points system and send them to me via PM.

 

1st (favourite) - 15 points

2nd - 12

3rd - 10

4th - 8

5th - 6

6th - 5

7th - 4

8th - 3

9th - 2

10th - 1

 

Everybody can vote, regardless of whether that have submitted a song or not. However all posters who did submit a song must vote or will be deducted 15 points from their total score. You cannot vote for your own song. I shall send out voting reminders to people who have not yet voted two days before the deadline.

 

If you reveal which song is yours you will be disqualified from the contest and if you publicly attempt to guess what other people have sent you will be deducted points from your final total. I shall reveal who sent what when I reveal each persons votes at the end.

 

You have until 12:00 on Wednesday 15th September to vote. Any votes sent after this deadline will not be counted. Results will take place on the evenings of Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th.

I've actually heard two of these - apart from my own,

I must say I expected that we might have to vote for more than just 10 this time seeing as there are more songs.

I must be the only person to find Animal Collective f***ing annoying.

 

And Leaf House is in the Pitchfork 500 book as one of the best songs of the last 30 years!

 

I like the Peter Murphy song - the intro reminds me of King of the Mountain

Know 2 or 3 songs apart from my own. Always liked Kent.

Is it really? I'd say its one of the weak tracks of Sung Tongs, however that isn't saying much, amazing album <3

It was my intention (and still is) to do them today. I'd downloaded about 18 before today, however there are two that are coming up with 'file temporarily unavailable' on Megaupload. If I can't find an alternative link to either of them then it will be whenever the two people in question reupload onto a different site, I don't particularly want to disadvantage any of the songs.
